No rest for the wicked! Helen Flanagan is chosen by public to face first Live Bushtucker Trial... but freaks out at a mouthful of cockroaches
By EMMA GRITT
Since she arrived in the Australian jungle, viewers have seen her squeal, sob, bawl and jump for joy, but tonight it was her camp mates' turn to see Helen Flanagan take on a Bushtucker Trial.
The Coronation Street actress was selected by the British public to undertake the series' first Live Bushtucker Trial which was an office-themed challenge complete with the usual supporting cast of creepy crawlies.
The 22-year old looked like she was too tired to make a fuss as Ant and Dec gave her the news that she would be undertaking her seventh trial in a row, dubbed Bad Day At The Office.

Not your lucky day: Helen Flanagan was faced with her seventh Bushtucker Trial
Her campmates commiserated her, but she seemed upbeat, even dryly joking to Ant and Dec that she felt 'like she had just been dragged out of bed first thing in the morning', when they asked her how she was feeling.
She seemed to have lost the vigour she had for the task the day before, Deadly Deliveries, that saw her buck the trend for chickening out of the trials before they had even begun and bringing home twelve stars to feed her ravenous competitors.
Before things could get underway, the show's health and safety expert was called out to give the shell shocked star a quick warning, that left her looking wide eyed and anxious.
'Today there is a large mixture of animals from the Australian bush.
One or the other: It was either going to be Helen or David Haye doing the challenge
Delighted: David was pleased to escape the trial and whooped for joy
'They are going to bite, scratch and sting. But they are not deadly,' added Bob, gravely.
As the challenge got underway, Helen was required to type her name, age and occupation in a keyboard that was crawling with green ants.
She managed it easily, and was soon ready for her next task with a star in the bank.
It was here, when Helen had to stick her head in a photocopier and pull out two stars with her teeth, that things took a turn for the worse.
You again: Helen talks to Ant and Dec
'I'll get one in my mouth!' she moaned as she forced herself to put her face amongst the crawling mass.
Her camp mates cheered her on, but she ducked out of the trial, forfeiting two stars.
As she approached the third task, her bravado was fading fast but cheers from her peers kept her on track.
Danger ahead: Bob warned her she might be bitten, scratched or stung during the task
More drama: Helen Flanagan was selected for her seventh task on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here tonight
'We're proud of you!' Brian Connolly called out, as she secured one star, fishing it from a pot of yabbies and filing the star in the correctly labelled cubby hole.
However, the next star was lost after she mistook its scorpion guardians for spiders and placed the star in the incorrect place.
Ant and Dec then guided Helen to a vending machine, where she had to retrieve juice and sweets from an area containing a large python.
Yabbie dabbie doo: Helen had to unscrew the star from a box full of yabbies and file it accordingly
NO WAY! Helen refused point blank to stick her mouth in to a photocopier full of cockroaches, losing two stars
Changed my mind: The actress got this close to the bugs before changing her mind
She picked up two, meaning that when the first advert break came she had collected three stars which meant three meals for that night.
Helen admitted that she could have done better, but the cockroaches were simply too much for her to handle.
The pretty actress looked pleased when she was told it was time for a tea break.
Piece of snake: Helen didn't bat an eyelid at the giant python, and retrieved two stars to swap for hot dinners later that night
Tea break: Helen was nonplussed about drinking a cup of pureed insects
Roaring to go: The 22-year old also had to eat a dead stick insect to win food for her campmates
Bon appetite: The long suffering soap star had to eat an enormous (but thankfully dead) stick insect live on TV
However, she looked less happy to have to eat a whole cup of blended bug tea and a giant stick insect that had been on the top of a bun.
But, she made light work of the dead creature, even announcing that it was delicious.
Her guile earned her more praise from her impressed celebrity friends, who were watching with baited breath to see how she would fare over the next few obstacles.
The actress was still chewing when she was lead to the next challenge, where she had to don goggles and prepare to catch three stars.
Please no! Helen pleaded with Ant and Dec when she was faced with the elevator of gunge
Ut oh: Helen looked petrified in the moments before she was gunged
Gentle elevator music played as she was doused with thick green gunge and insects.
Sadly, for her hungry pals, she failed to catch any of the stars, much to their disdain and visible frustration.
She was upset about being covered in the nipping critters, and seemed distracted when she had to root through a filing cabinet of rats to find two more stars.
Messy job: Helen was covered in gunge and insects - and missed out on grabbing three stars
Bad luck: The actress has been singled out by the public, who seem to find her scared outbursts amusing
Sorry folks: With her green face, Helen looked like The Mask as she faced her irked comrades at the tasks' end
Forgetting she was on live television, she let out a string of obscenities as she continued to wipe her arms and face of the gloopy mixture.
In the end, she won a total of five out of twelve stars, which she tried to pass off as good.
However, the disappointed groans from her malnourished camp mates told a different story.
