Beyonce receives major backlash after 'big announcement' turned out to be an excuse to show off trim figure and plug vegan diet
She had teased that she was desperate to share some 'major' news on GMA on Monday, forcing her loyal fan base - known as the Beyhive - into a frenzy.
Many speculated it could be a new album, even a new baby on the way, but no, it turned out to be a plug for the vegan diet she's been on.
It also appeared to be an excuse for the 33-year-old to show off her incredibly fit physique - prompting angry fans to hit back on Twitter.

Look at me! Beyonce posted a series of flattering shots of herself on Monday, after revealing all about her new vegan diet that has kept her looking trim
'So Beyonce woke yall up just to tell yall she lost weight?' one disappointed fan tweeted, as the sound of the singer's Beyhive fizzled out.
While another added: 'No shade but how is Beyonce going to tell me to be a vegan when her and Nicki were feeding each other burgers in the Feelin' Myself music video?'
The fans were reacting to Bey's promotion of her new vegan diet meal plan 22 Days Nutrition during a pre-taped segment that aired on Good Morning America during the early hours on Monday.

And soon after Beyonce was showing off just how fabulous her figure has become with three new photos shared to her website.
The Single Ladies singer flaunted her toned legs in two snaps where she was lounging on velvet furniture. Then the mother-of-one stunned in a snap where she was showing off her pert bottom in very short shorts while touching her backside.
Her caption for all three snaps read, 'My life.' The timing seemed very calculated on the beauty's part.
Angry: Some fans took to Twitter to vent their frustration at the news
Funny reactions: Fans were quick to mock the announcement of her diet, which they had hoped would be something more substantial like news of a new album
But wait a minute... Other fans pointed out the fact that Bey has often been pictured guzzling fast food
Not happy: The general consensus among fans was that revealing her vegan diet isn't what they would consider to be 'major news'
Point made: Another user highlighted that many of her fans would struggle to follow the diet because they have a limited budget
Beyhive bites back: This comment hilariously suggested that Beyonce had appeared on GMA just to school everyone on losing weight
But the set up was convincing nonetheless as the Crazy In Love hit maker looked incredible. On GMA, she said she had struggled to find a diet that worked before she created 22 Days Nutrition - her new vegan meal delivery service - with celebrity trainer Marco Borges.
The star began with the trainer's 22-Day Vegan Challenge in 2013, and has stuck with it ever since, noticing a slimmer, more toned figure.
'I am not naturally the thinnest woman,' she said, in the prerecorded segment. 'I have curves, I'm proud of my curves.
'I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, that actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me.'

How she 'woke up like this': Beyonce admitted that before taking the 22-Day Vegan Challenge she had 'struggled since a young age with diets,' however it has helped her get weight 'off fast' and keep it off
The Texas native added that her skin is 'really firm and a lot tighter' since trying the challenge, and that the program helped her get the weight 'off fast' and keep it off.
The program - The 22-Day Revolution - was created by Marco, and focuses exclusively on plant-based foods, helping you to go vegan in just three weeks.
'Psychologists have learned that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit,' Marco said. 'So if you adopted a healthy habit over the course of 21 days, on the 22nd day you'd be armed with a new habit and that is the magic to sustainability.'
Make it a habit: Trainer Marco Borges shared that it is a 22-day program because psychologists have found that it takes 21 days to make or break a habit
Beyonce is such a fan of the diet that she provided a forward for Marco's book, and partnered with the trainer for a vegan meal delivery system.
The system, which was originally announced back in February, will deliver meals once a week that are 100% plant-based and made up of non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and organic ingredients.
Prices for meals on the program are said to range from $9.76 to $16.50 each, according to a report by Business Insider.
22 Days Nutrition: Beyonce was also promoting her new vegan meal delivery system with Marco, which brings meals once a week that are 100% plant-based and made up of non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and organic ingredients
In the book's forward, Beyonce says of the program: 'If a Houston-born foodie like me can do it, you can, too.'
Marco has also said: 'We all know the importance and value of eating plant-based foods but often times find ourselves trapped in a series of bad habits that sabotage optimum wellness.'
'The Vegan Meal Delivery program makes it easier to reset your habits with healthy and delicious plant-based foods.'
The night before the 'big' announcement, a dramatic teaser released by Good Morning America had fans in a frenzy trying to figure out what the star was up to.
Motivation: The star insisted that if a foodie like her could follow the program, anyone could
'This is something I have to share with everyone!' Sunday night Good Morning America revealed a dramatic teaser video that led fans to believe the star could have been expecting a second baby or might be working on new music with husband Jay Z
'Tomorrow morning Beyonce has something amazing she wants you to know,' voiceover audio revealed on a dramatic video shared yesterday ahead of Beyonce's segment.
Adding: 'You're gonna love it!'
And fans took to Twitter to guess what Queen Bey's announcement could have been.
Everything from a new album to a Destiny's Child reunion was speculated, with some Beyhive followers even poking fun at a potential presidential bid in the 2016 election.

In the recent months, Beyonce and husband Jay Z have been reportedly working on a collaborative album exclusively for their Tidal music subscribers.
Hip-hop producer Detail previously told Billboard back in February that 'there are a couple of new projects' in the pipeline.
Most recently, the 20-time Grammy winner was featured in the music video for Nicki Minaj's song Feeling Myself.
Beyonce previously surprised fans by dropping an unpublicized album on iTunes in December 2013, which has since gone on to sell more than 5 million copies worldwide.

However, while foodies were likely excited at the star's new venture, many fans were a little disappointed with the announcement - to say the least.
And they took to Twitter to share their frustration with the somewhat anticlimactic news, especially following such a large buildup by Good Morning America.
One Twitter user wrote: 'They had the dramatic music in the Beyonce/GMA interview commercial and she's announcing that she only eats grass lmao.'
Another echoed those sentiments, tweeting: 'This Beyoncé announcement had me dead, I almost made it to school an hour late because I thought this GMA announcement would've been big.'
