And on Thursday, Charli XCX certainly stood out in a bright yellow plaid crop top and high-waisted trousers at Nylon magazine's Music Issue Party at Dream Downtown in New York City.
The 22-year-old British songbird showed off her toned midriff while mingling with fellow musicians Kiesza and Jack Antonoff among others.

Charli XCX - birth name Charlotte Emma Aitchison - showed off her svelte arms in a halter top design while she covered up her lower body in a matching pair of wide leg trousers.
She added even more color with a bold red lip and dark eyeshadow as well as a touch of pink blush on her flawless cheeks.
The Fancy collaborator accessorized with white platform wedges and a silver Kenzo clutch.

Joining her at the event was her Do America tour co-headliner Jack Antonoff.
Charli and the Bleachers lead singer are getting to ready to kick off the US tour starting on July 21.
And before hitting the road, they have been getting to know each other.
'She likes karaoke. Her big karaoke song - there are a few - she likes to do Kiss by Prince, You Shook Me All Night Long by AC/DC, Billy Ocean, anything that really gets you moving,' he shared with Billboard.
'He likes to get pedicures, he eats a lot of steak, he goes rollerblading on tour and went to Jewish school,' she said of Jack, who has been dating actress Lena Dunham.
'I've never done a co-headline tour before. We're both chill. There's no ego s*** going on with it... well, at least I hope not,' Charli continued about the pair's tour.
