Some like it hot! Eva Longoria turns up the heat in clingy yellow frock at Svedka Vodka Grapefruit Jalapeno Summer Fiesta

As celebrity guest of honour, Eva Longoria made this a party to remember.

Eyes were on the 40-year-old actress as she helped celebrate The Launch Of Grapefruit Jalapeno At Svedka's Summer Fiesta in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Eva donned a banana-yellow dress that fit her slim and petite figure like a glove and featured a low-cut neckline and shin-length hem.

Strappy gold high heels gave her an added benefit of height while she surveyed the pinata fashioned to resemble a bottle of the spicy new vodka.

Eva took the club and swung at the hovering object with all her might as the other party guests applauded.

She smiled as her dark hair blew back with the effort, one heel delicately raised off the lush green grass.

The bash, which took place at a Spanish-style estate with glamorous pool and paito, also included a mariachi band, fiesta flower arrangements and men on stilts.

Eva was joined at the cocktail party by singers Cher Lloyd and Sophie Monk.

Cher and Sophie also had a blast posing alongside the spirited floral and greenery arch that had been specially constructed for the occasion.

Eva has had quite a busy year so far - she atended the Cannes Film Festival on the French Riviera last month before flying to Paris for her foundation's Global Gift Gala.

Then she jetted to Mexico with her businessman boyfriend José Antonio Baston, 46, who is the president of Televisa, Latin America's largest media company.

Eva told People recently: 'I'm just in a happy place in my life that it's easy to be open and in love because I am in a complete place in my life.

'Whether it's personally, career, new projects, going back to television, there's just so much happiness and joy in my life and I think you know that transmits to everything.'
