Cheryl Cole wears loud matching top and shoes for album signing

That's a colourful combination: Cheryl Cole wears loud matching top and shoes for album signing

After she achieved the fastest-selling single of the year as Call My Name stormed straight to the top of the charts, Cheryl Cole paid back her fans today.
The 28-year-old dropped into HMV at Whiteleys Shopping Centre in Bayswater to sign copies of her new album A Million Lights.
The former X Factor judge showed off her canny dress sense by wearing a very colourful top that also matched her extravagantly decorated high heels.

Cheryl wore a multi-coloured short sleeved top with a pair of equally colourful platform shoes that featured a zebra print heel.
The Newcastle-born pop star teamed the top and footwear with a pair of tight leather trousers as she waved and greeted the packed out shopping mall.
Speaking to RWD TV, the Fight For This Love singer revealed why her fans feel like she hasn't been around for a while.

She said: 'I know people keep thinking that I've been away for a while but I haven't stopped.
'It's took this long to record the album and finalise everything, shoot a video and all the other stuff that goes into making music, so I've actually been non stop.'
Although her previous album offerings have been heavily influenced by a generic pop sound, she is adamant that her new project is much more true to herself.

She said: 'It's definitely got an urban feel but there is loads of sounds on there, there's dub step on there, there is dance as you've heard with the Calvin Harris record. Even the will (will.i.am) song is dubby.
'I made a real conscious effort this time to record music that was mine and that people would identify me with.'
The singer sold 152,000 copies of her new track in its first week of release to reach number one, ending the two-week reign of Diamond Jubilee anthem Sing by Gary Barlow and his Commonwealth Band.

There were no hard feeling between her and Barlow, however, as the Take That star sent her a message to say well done.
She told ITN: 'He sent me a tweet saying 'massive congratulations', so we're big supporters of each other.'
Cole surpassed the previous record of 142,000 copies set last week by the Take That frontman, the Official Charts Company said.
Call My Name, written and produced by Calvin Harris, is the Girls Aloud star's first single under the name of simply Cheryl and marks her third solo number-one single - after Fight For This Love and Promise This.
