The Popstar And The Showgirl: Lady Gaga has a Marilyn moment as she pays tribute to tragic actress on 86th birthday
When it comes to style, Lady Gaga has her own unique look.
But the chameleon chameleon managed to transform herself in a very different way last night, when she dressed as late film icon Marilyn Monroe.
The superstar singer curled her hair and wore lashings of red lipstick as she paid tribute to Marilyn on what would have been her 86th birthday.

The 'Born This Way' singer, who is currently on the Japan leg of her world tour, managed to find the time to self style herself in the Marilyn-esque way.
She wrote to her followers on Twitter who she calls her Little Monsters: '#HappyBirthdayMarilyn They'll never take our blonde hair and lipstick.'
Her Marilyn tribute comes as the Hollywood Reporter reported Digicon Media s planning to 'revive' Marilyn Monroe for a live concert later this year.
The performance will incorporate the same technology used during the surprise performance by the late Tupac Shakur at this year’s Coachella Music Festival.
Gaga like the late Monroe, has become an iconic figure who is never too far away from controversy.
As well as sharing the 'blonde bombshell' and 'troubled star' labels previously, both women also chose to perform under stage names rather then reveal their true identities.
The star is currently on the road touring her latest album Born This Way, which includes dates in London and across Europe.

The singer opens her highly anticipated show with Highway Unicorn (Road To Love) followed by all her biggest hits.
Tracks performed included Bad Romance, Electric Chapel, Poker Face and Marry The Night.
Not only is June 1st the date to remember Marilyn Monroe's birthday, but it is also a day in history for Lady Gaga.

She has become an internet phenomenon who today became the first person to pass 25 million followers on Twitter.
Lady Gaga immediately tweeted her gratitude to fans:
'#25milliontweetymonsters wow! I'm officially feeling like the luckiest girl in the world today,' she wrote.
The 26-year-old singer has more than two and a half million followers more than her nearest competitor, Justin Bieber, who has 22.5 million.
