Chloe Bennet Enlists in SHIELD
You can add actress Chloe Bennet to the growing cast of Joss Whedon’s “SHIELD”. Bennet is said to be the sixth and final regular on the ABC superhero show.
Bennet, whose biggest role to date is a stint on ABC’s “Nashville”, will play Skye, described as “a confident woman who is slightly obsessed with superhero culture and the shadow organizations that exist within it. She’s edgy and can out-talk anyone with her unflappable nature.”
Basically, the quintessential Joss Whedon TV girl.
Bennet joins a cast that already includes Ming-Na as Agent Melinda May, Clark Gregg as Agent Phil Coulson, Brett Dalton as Agent Grant Ward, Elizabeth Henstridge as Agent Gemma Simmons and Ian De Caestecker as Agent Leo Fitz.
Developed, produced, written, and featuring a pilot possibly directed by Joss Whedon (of “Avengers” and “Buffy” fame).
