Pulling no punches: Pippa Middleton and Nico Jackson lead the young royals as they attend Boodles Boxing Ball
Given that it is one of high-society's biggest bashes, it's no surprise that Pippa Middleton and her boyfriend Nico Jackson were guests of honour at the Boodles Boxing Ball in London, yesterday.
The sister of the Duchess of Cambridge, who turned 30 earlier this month, attended the annual charity fundraiser in a striking black and orange halter-neck dress.
She matched the outfit with black, strappy, peep-toe shoes and long, tousled hair. Her make-up was simple, except for statement blusher on her cheeks.

The Waitrose and Vanity Fair columnist looked happy relaxed as she posed for photographs alongside long-term beau, Nico - who wore a fitted tuxedo with an over-sized bow tie.
The couple weren't the only royal pair to attend the bash - Princess Beatrice was also there with her boyfriend, Dave Clark.

Sister act: Last year, the Duchess of Cambridge - Pippa's sister - also attended the charity sports match
Other royals who attended included Prince Harry, who wore a classic tuxedo, while pregnant Zara Phillips looked every inch the expectant mother in a silk, billowing dress which showed her maternal curves.
Previously, both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have attended - adding new kudos to the ball.
The black-tie event – the fourth of its kind – was held at The Grosvenor House Hotel because, according to event organisers, it's the only venue big enough to cope with the growing number of attendees.

Last year, tickets sold out in less than 24 hours.
In 2012 the proceeds were divided between two charities - The Starlight Children’s Foundation and the Lt Dougie Dalzell MC Memorial Trust.
The former grants once-in-a-lifetime wishes to seriously and terminally-ill children, while the latter helps injured soldiers and families who have lost loved ones at war.
Celebrities who attended included Olympic athlete Jessica Ennis, TV presenter Kelly Brooke and entrepreneur Sam Branson.
