So perhaps Katherine Jenkins' recent travels influenced her choice of outfit as she attended a charity auction on Monday night.
The Welsh classical singer wore an animal-print skirt and black polo neck as she joined a host of stars at the Macmillan De'Longhi Art Auction at London's Royal College of Art.

Accompanied by her sister Laura, the 33-year-old singer showed off her tanned legs in a pair of black pumps as she arrived at the Kensington venue.
During the bash, she tweeted: 'Sister date night @macmillancancer art auction..She's already forced me into bidding on 2pieces #AllForAGoodCause.'
The annual art sale by appliances manufacturer De'Longhi was hosted by model and socialite Donna Air, with the proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.

Of course the cause is very close to Katherine's heart, after Macmillan nurses cared for her father Sewlyn during his last months before he sadly succumbed to cancer when she was 15.
Earlier this year, she raised over £26,000 for the charity after completing the London Marathon.
Katherine's arrival at the party came after she flew back from South Africa on Saturday, following two weeks in the country.

Meanwhile, also in attendance at the bash was model Daisy Lowe, actress Kara Tointon and designer Pearl Lowe.
Providing the entertainment was Laura Whitmore, who showed off her mixing skills in the DJ booth.
The Irish TV presenter arrived in a leather jacket, before peeling it off once in the warmth to reveal a negligee-style dress.

Also going for a dark colour was former EastEnders actress Kara in a black pannelled sheer dress and Christian Louboutin ankle boots.
Meanwhile, hostess Donna stood out in a maxi skirt with classical painting print and a lace top.
However, her boyfriend James Middleton appeared to have missed out the event.
