Rita Ora wows in a spotted mini dress and thigh-high boots at LA event... amid claims Simon Cowell is 'trying to persuade her to move from The Voice to The X Factor'
She likes to shake things up a bit, having dabbled in the music, movie and TV worlds and now it sounds like Rita Ora could be gearing up for another big venture.
The 24-year-old is reportedly at the centre of a TV tug of war, with X Factor boss Simon Cowell said to be desperate to lure the singer away from her judging role on BBC's The Voice.
Rita may be sparking a fierce battle back home in the UK, but on Friday night she was busy across the pond performing at an LA charity event.

Rita was in Century City, California on Friday night to perform at the 22nd Annual Race To Erase MS Event, held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza.
The singer was there to show her support for Tommy Hilfiger, the father of her boyfriend Ricky, who was the 2015 Medal of Hope honoree at the annual fundraising gala, founded by Nancy Davis.
Rita cuddled up to the fashion designer at the event, with the Brit star looking stunning in a tiny sixties style mini dress.

Reach for it: While she performed in the States, reports in the UK claim Rita is at the centre of a tug of war between the X Factor and The Voice
For her arrival at the event, Rita chose another chic look, looking pretty in a striped top and tight white jeans which she paired with matching boots.
With her platinum blonde locks swept back into a retro style, Rita added a statement choker necklace and a slick of her signature rep lippie.
Clearly close to her boyfriend's father, Rita paid tribute to Tommy on her Instagram page after the charity event, writing:
'Thank you for having me Nancy Davis @nancypeaceandlove to celebrate @tommyhilfiger outstanding support and dedication to your charity and everything you've achieved thus far. What a special night it was!'
Popular girl: X Factor boss Simon Cowell is said to be desperate to sign the star for the new judging panel for his ITV show
What a crowd: Rita's boyfriend Ricky, with the green hair, could be seen proudly watching his girlfriend's performance at Friday's charity event
While Rita wowed the crowds in California, she's just as popular back home in the UK.
The Sun claim Simon Cowell is keen to recruit the singer, who joined The Voice for the 2015 series, for the new series of The X Factor, which will kick off with auditions in front of the celeb panel in the summer.
The report claims Rita would replace Mel B on the X Factor and join remaining judges Simon and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who Cowell is said to be desperate to keep hold of, as well as a possible new replacement for Louis Walsh.
Cowell has reportedly run into some trouble with ITV though, who don't want a judge from The Voice. 'It's going to be very interesting to see how this all pans out but it could get extremely messy,' an insider speaking to The Sun claims. 'It's a real battle of wills. ITV see X Factor as vastly superior to The Voice. They don't want a judge who they see as a cast-off. As far as they are concerned, Rita's now out of the picture.'
Changing her stripes: Earlier in the evening Rita was on the orange carpet in a striped top
Red carpet stripes: The singer looked cute in her tunic and super tight white jeans
Peace: The star was there to help honour fashion designer Tommy who was receiving a special award in recognition for his fundraising efforts for the MS charity
'Simon and Syco are determined to push ahead with their plan and still think they can sign her,' they added. 'Rita's young, she's sexy, she's outspoken and she's current. He tried to get her last year but she turned him down. That has just made him more determined.'
A source has told Mail Online that Rita is currently considering different ventures for 2015 and has yet to make a decision about any TV offers.
'Rita has an incredibly busy year ahead with a new album and further acting roles in the pipeline so has to think carefully about what she can commit to,' the insider explained.
Part of the family: Rita posed with Tommy and his wife Dee Ocleppo on the orange carpet
She's in fashion: The designer seemed to approve of the singer's stylish look as she struck a pose
The singer has already had a try-out on The X Factor, she was a guest judge on the ninth series of the show during the London auditions, sitting alongside Louis, Tulisa and Gary Barlow before permanent judge Nicole Scherzinger was recruited.
Simon told the Daily Star earlier this month that he'd have no hesitation in asking a judge from a rival show to join his series. Pointing out that he persuaded Alesha Dixon to leave the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing for his Britain's Got Talent, Simon said: 'I saw Rita on The Voice and I thought she was very good. When it comes to asking her over, you know, it’s fair game.'
Rita may play hard to get though, as she told the Daily Star after signing up for The Voice that she chose a spot on that show as she respected its process more
'I don’t know how X Factor works, I was only there as a guest judge for a day. But I watched The Voice a lot, I respected how it came across on TV and I love the freedom we get as coaches to do what we want,' she explained.
Previous appearance: Rita acted as a guest judge on The X Factor back in 2012, alongside Gary Barlow, Tulisa Contostavlos and Louis Walsh
New venture: Rita could be moving on from BBC show The Voice after just one series alongside Ricky Wilson, Tom Jones and will.i.am
