Chat no-show! Katie Hopkins' proposed prime-time programme 'fails to sign up any celebrity guests as no-one wants to speak to her'
Katie Hopkins was once widely-regarded as 'the most hated woman in Britain'.
So it won't come as a huge surprise to many that she is proving unpopular with the celebrity crowd and finding it hard to tap guests for a new chat show, as The Daily Mirror reported on Thursday.
The 40-year-old, who is said to be in talks for the TLC prime-time programme, has been at the centre of multiple social media feuds with high profile individuals in the last year and is thought to be struggling to sign anyone up to appear on the show because 'no-one wants to speak to her.'

A source told the newspaper that not a single celebrity has signed up after agents were asked to put talent forward.
The source said: 'They can't find anyone who wants to go on it. She is too controversial, too nasty.
'The bottom line is no-one wants to speak to her. Why would you want to go and speak to her?'
Though her chat show is yet to be confirmed, a representative for TLC and Katie Hopkins has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Former Apprentice contestant Katie previously worked with the television channel when she curated a documentary that saw her gain 3st to highlight the obesity epidemic in the UK.
Since coming second on one of Celebrity Big Brother's most fiery series to date, Katie has launched unprovoked attacks on stars including Kelly Clarkson, Chloe Madeley, Kelly Osbourne, Kym Marsh and Denise Welch.
The sharp-tongued reality star has targeted celebrities for issues such as cancer awareness, calling Angelina Jolie 'smug' when she discussed her extensive preventative surgery, and also new mothers, as she recently attacked Kelly Clarkson for gaining 'carrot cake weight'.
Kelly was one of the few celebrities to refuse to rise to it on social media and responded with a defiant 'I'm awesome' when Katie said of her: 'Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves.'

Katie was even brazen enough to reference the late Peaches Geldof - the daughter of Bob Geldof who died of a heroin overdose last year aged 25 - in a recent vile social media slam.
She said: 'Chloe Madeley, Peaches Geldoff and Jesus. One thing in common. Only famous 'cos of their dad.'
Celebrities have also been quick to defend each other on social media, wading into others' feuds to encourage the television personality to keep her opinions to herself.
This week, Katie started an argument when she tweeted TV star Richard Madeley about his gym-obsessed daughter Chloe with a comment on her recent fitness snaps.

Defense: Celebrities have also been quick to wade into others' debates and defend them, like when TOWIE star Maria Fowler recently stuck up for Chloe on social media
She said: 'Bloody hell @richardm56 - have a word with your daughter love. Tell her to put it away, or put some clothes on it.'
TOWIE star Maria Fowler was quick to reply, questioning Katie's authority to comment on such things when she was captured having intercourse in a field with another man's husband back in 2007.
Maria chimed in saying: 'Least she's not naked. In a field. Having sex. On camera.'

A proposed chat show is no doubt sure to draw in the viewers after the latest series of CBB, in which Katie caused race and sexism rows, had its highest ratings since moving over to Channel 5.
It was also the channel's most talked-about series, over on Katie's familiar social media stomping ground, Twitter.
Her two-part TLC documentary, My Fat Story which aired in January, achieved record ratings for the channel too.
It scored scored 140k viewers for the first part and 210k in the second, while the show was up 0.9% on previous success Jodie Marsh On…Plastic Surgery that went out in October 2014.
