Amanda Holden has been blasted by angry Britain's Got Talent viewers, after wearing a series of revealing outfits on the TV talent show during semi-finals week.

And rather than back down quietly, Amanda went all out to shock on Sunday's live finale, taking to the stage in yet another racy ensemble but this time her fellow judge Alesha Dixon's dress was equally revealing.

44-year-old Amanda's blue dress featured her trademarks, a plunging neckline and thigh-high split, and it did not go unnoticed by hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly.

Amanda simply giggled at the joke before making her way to her seat.

Holden's latest daring outfit comes after regulators Ofcom revealed they received 59 official complaints about the star's outfits, while others have used social media to air their views.

One, called CHAMPS Academy, wrote: 'Thought #BGT was a family show? Is it really necessary to see so much of @amandaholden's boobs?'

Another disgruntled viewer named Lucy Perry added: 'Someone should tell Amanda Holden that if she really wants to get her boobs out on TV every night, there are special channels for that.'

Others complained Ms Holden's choice of outfits were not 'age appropriate' and 'not suitable for family TV'.

Outfits that have provoked a particularly irate reaction from the public include the plunging black number worn at Monday night's first live final and the semi-sheer number by Dubai based designer Rami Al Ali on Thursday night.

A plunging gold number worn the day before also sparked complaints, with viewers describing the look as 'inappropriate' for a show screened before the 9pm watershed.

But that hasn't stopped her and a defiant Amanda proved her detractors will not keep her from showing off her yoga-honed figure, as she did on Sunday night's episode.

Alesha, who has chosen quite demure looks all week, seemed to take a leaf out of Amanda's book on Sunday as she also opted for a plunging dress featuring a slit to mid-thigh.

The gorgeous 36-year-old star looked incredible as she hit the stage in her racy outfit, clearly unconcerned by viewer complaints about Amanda.

And it wasn't just the women who took the plunge, Simon Cowell wore his trademark unbuttoned shirt, showing off his chest hair but David Walliams was all covered up, in a dapper tuxedo.
