And the 40-year-old star didn't disappoint when it came to her first red carpet at the 68th festival on Thursday.
Choosing a metallic gown, the plunging neckline and figure hugging cut made the most of her petite and curvy frame.

Eva chose a statement dress for her first appearance, with the silver number's long sleeves and floor length skirt offset by a daringly low neckline.
Pretty bow detail accentuated the Desperate Housewives star's tiny waist before the dress flowed out into a pleated skirt.

Keeping jewels to a minimum with just a pair of simple diamond earrings, the actress added plenty of dark eyeliner and a slick of lipgloss to finish off her glam look.
Eva, who is a regular at Cannes in her role with L'Oreal, stopped to sign autographs for waiting fans and even snap a few selfies.

The star jetted in to the South of France on Wednesday, showing off her mountain of luggage ahead of her long-haul flight.
