'When you wake up with an ex': Brooke Vincent posts jokey bed snap with former onscreen lesbian lover Sacha Parkinson following Mark and Michelle's wedding

They played lesbian lovers in Coronation Street and Brooke Vincent and Sacha Parkinson joked that their onscreen romance had run into real life in a hilarious Instagram picture.

Sharing a bed together following Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan's wedding on Sunday evening, Brooke posted a snap of them hungover the morning after.

Referring to their 2011 romance on Coronation Street, Brook captioned the black and white image with the words:

No doubt Brooke, who plays Sophie Webster, was in need of a good friend that morning, following the nuptials as she also told her followers she was feeling the strain after a heavy night.

She wrote: 'This Morning I Have Woken Up With A Banging Head,Sore Feet& Some Amazing Memories.'

Mark and Brooke's former Corrie co-star Michelle tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at St Mary's Church in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, before a reception at Hengrave Hall.

Brooke wasn't the only person to tweet about the big day.

Kym Marsh wrote: 'Huge congratulations to beautiful @michkeegan and gorgeous @MarkWright_ wishing you love and luck always! Sorry I couldn't be there.'
