Alesha Dixon enlisted the help of her fans to choose the ending of her new music video and on Tuesday, they finally got the chance to see the end result.

Filmed on the glamorous island location of Paphos in Cyprus, Alesha can captures the essence of a fun summer holiday in the official clip for her single, The Way We Are.

Running with the upbeat theme of her comeback single, the clip– which is the first fan-curated music video in the UK – sees the stunning singer in various locations as she sings about having confidence in yourself.

The sun-filled video sees the former Mis-Teeq star showcasing her amazing figure as she dons a metallic gold bikini for a scene which sees her sitting on rock at the beach.

As well as showcasing her vocals in the single, the Britain’s Got Talent judge proved she is a triple-threat as she performs a high-energy dance routine.

Capturing the vibes of a summer holiday with friends, the video ends with a bonfire party on the beach with the star dancing around with her.

The 36-year-old found time to fill the video while juggling a hectic production schedule including preparation BGT live finals while writing and recording tracks for her forthcoming fourth studio album.

But while she continues to champion the ITV show she joined in 2012, Alesha recently admitted to MailOnline that it is her musical legacy, not her role as a Saturday night television staple, she hopes to impress upon 19-month daughter Azura as she grows into adulthood.

'I can't wait for my daughter to get a bit bigger so she can come along with me and see what I'm doing and appreciate what I'm doing,' she said.

'That's a massive inspiration for me going back into the studio because I really want her to see me doing what I love to do.

'All these TV opportunities that I've had over the last four or five years have been wonderful and I've loved it but I want her to see me pursuing my passion.'

The singer was speaking to MailOnline while preparing to unveil the first ever fan curated music video for lead single The Way We Are - a fresh initiative that gives them the opportunity to pick their favorite from three alternative endings.
