A little help from some tape! Elizabeth Banks wears cutaway dress slashed to the navel at People Like Us premiere
Elizabeth Banks looked breathtaking as she graced the red carpet for the People Like Us premiere.
Easily defying her 38 years, the blonde actress wore her hair slicked back in a tomboy style - but with her slashed neckline to the navel, she was nothing short of ultra feminine.
Flavour of the month: Elizabeth Banks steals the spotlight at the People Like Us premiere at the LA Film Festival
Golden girl: Elizabeth's metallic dress was rather revealing as it was slashed to the navel
The Massachusetts-born star has been a Hollywood regular for over a decade, but the possibility of becoming a household name really started to take shape following her role in The Hunger Games.
Last week, Elizabeth won an MTV Movie Award for Best Transformation following her efforts as flamboyant and morally-corrupt Effie Trinket in the blockbuster.
Stepping out in a shimmering metallic gown for the LA Film Festival celebrations, Elizabeth even stole the show from A-list icon Michelle Pfeiffer, who looked rather ordinary in comparison.
A little more modest: Michelle Pfeiffer opted for a slightly higher neckline than her daring co-star
Legend: Despite her youthful appearance, the Californian-born actress is actually 54
Elizabeth elevated her already super svelte frame with skyscraper heels that didn't look too comfortable - although in the name of fashion she posed and pouted like a professional.
Despite playing things a little safe in a black and white sleeveless dress, Michelle was still striking.
She took to the red carpet like the professional she is, with her petite frame failing to shed any light how old she really is.
Strike a pose: Chris Pine proved it's not only the ladies that can strut their stuff, looking dapper in a brown suit
Geek chic: Mark Duplass offers a wave and a smile instead of a sultry expression
The only sign of her 54 years peeing through was a hint of crow's feet freckling her eyes.
Star Trek hunk Chris Pine flew the flag for the boys, looking suave with gelled hair in his dapper brown suit - complete with polka dot handkerchief peeing through his pocket.
And Mark Duplass added a hint of charm, offering wave and smile instead of a sultry pout.
The film, also starring Olivia Wilde, tells the tale of a man who must handover $150,000 worth of fortune belonging to his deceased father to the sister he has never met.
