When fans last saw Kick Ass his weediness was one of the hallmarks of the character.
But it seems Aaron Taylor-Johnson will win a whole new legion of female fans after bulking up for the long-awaited sequel.
The 22-year-old shows of his new look physique in the new trailer Kick-Ass 2, in which the film's other main star Chloe Moretz also features heavily.

However it is Aaron's new look appearance that will be the most noteworthy development for fans of the first film, particularly as Kick-Ass' actual lack of pugilistic talent was one of the most guffaw raising aspects of the original.
One person who will surely appreciate his new look is his much older wife Sam Taylor-Wood, 46, who he married last June.
But despite his new beefcake credentials, it seems Dave Lizewskiis still as awkward and seemingly unsuited as a superhero as ever.
One of the other main plot points of the forthcoming film will be Hit-Girl struggling to fit in at high school, where she goes by her real name Mindy Macready.
She is shocked to be selected by her peers for the role of head girl, and it is not long before it is getting in the way of her crime fighting urges.
However, she is also forced to hang up her leather suit, albeit briefly after she is caught sneaking out on a school night.

In the comic book sequel Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl join forces with reformed mobster Colonel Stars and Stripes, played by Jim Carrey, and his Justice Forever group.
However the vigilante group are put to the test when old foe Red Mist, who has restyled himself as a new villain called he Mother F*****, emerges on a revenge mission against the dynamic duo for the death of his father.
And he has help in the form of his own league of dastardly super criminals eager to make their mark.
Among the group is Olga Kukulina's Mother Russia who lands the unenviable task of having to take down Hit-Girl.

'But in reality, he just comes back and gets stoned, and he spends a lot of money.
'He can’t do anything, so he hires this bad ass girl from Russia, she comes into the story, and her plan is to kill Hit Girl.'
