Lilac lovely: Marion Cotillard wows in stunning rise and fall gown at Rust and Bone film premiere in Japan

She is the face of Lady Dior so it's no surprise to see Marion Cotillard wearing a Christian Dior gown.
The French actress wowed in a lilac strapless dress by the designer that boasted a rise and fall hemline at the premiere of Rust and Bone in Japan on Tuesday.
The 37-year-old actress had chosen her dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection and the skirt of the dress left a bright blue lining for a startling contrast.

Marion kept her accessories to a minimum and wore just a pair of black pumps with an elegant ankle strap on her feet.
She went without jewellery, which left the attention firmly focused on her dress and her flawless skin.
For make-up she displayed rouged cheeks subtle eye-makeup and a slick of rose gloss across her lips.

Ahead of the premiere Marion was seen arriving into Japan and her style was extremely dressed down for travelling.
Despite a long haul flight the Oscar winning actress looked fresh-faced as she arrived at the airport on Monday.
Marion is in the country to promote her latest film Rust and Bone, for which she received her fourth Screen Actors Guild Award nomination and third Golden Globe nomination.

Opting for comfort for her flight, the actress left the airport wearing a pair of loose fitting busy trousers.
She teamed them with a pair of black tasselled boots, while she covered up with a boyfriend style grey jacket over her simple white T-shirt.

Not wanting to worry about her hair after the flight, she pulled a black beanie over her brown locks and she covered her eyes with a pair of big pale blue rimmed sunglasses.
Completing her look she wore a bright blue hand bag across her shoulder and showing she’s not too big of a star to carry her own things, she pushed a large suitcase and a large bag full to the brim with items.
The mother-of-one recently starred in a campaign for Dior, promoting a line of leather bags which she had helped create.
