But just a week before, Miley Cyrus cut a lonely figure as she sunbathed by herself in Palm Desert, California, wearing a floral bandeau bikini as she chatted on her phone.
The 20-year-old looked glum as she sunned herself by the pool, as rumours continued to circulate that she'd called time on her relationship with the actor.

While the actor was back in Australia visiting family, Miley took the opportunity to spend some time relaxing on her own, in between recording her new album.
The starlet showed off her toned and super svelte body in the stand-out swimwear, brushing off the split rumours as she enjoyed some down time.
But although she was there to relax, Miley spent much of the afternoon on her embellished phone, chatting while wearing a serious expression on her face.

Keeping up her style-conscious image, the singer wore one of her gold body chains underneath her strapless bikini, and added gold bracelets on her wrists.
She went relatively make-up free and covered her fresh-faced complexion with a huge pair of wayfarer-style sunglasses.
But the star didn't seem to be wearing her engagement ring, which she controversially removed while Liam was out of the country, fuelling speculation of a split.

While the actor jetted from Oz to Manila to carry out promotional duties for label Bench, Miley continued to stay tight-lipped about the state of their relationship.
But when Liam arrived back in LA last Wednesday, a day after Miley started wearing her ring again, it looked like things might have been back on as be paid the star a visit at her house.
Liam trip to Australia came not long after claims he got 'hot and heavy' with 35-year-old Mad Men star January Jones at a pre-Oscars party emerged.
An insider told US Weekly that Miley and Liam 'are very happy' and that 'things are going well' since Liam's return.
