Written ON The Stars: Sophie Ellis- Bextor and Caroline Flack team up to fight cancer

The stars, along with girl group Little Mix, have posed for a set of stunning and defiant photos shot by renowned celebrity photographer Jason Bell.
The pictures, showing the women with powerful messages painted onto different parts of their bodies, have been taken to encourage women to sign up to Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life this summer and raise vital funds to beat the disease.

Murder On The Dancefloor singer Sophie looks stunning in the images wearing a strapless black mini-dress, which shows of her slender legs.
On her arm is written the gusty message ‘Beat it cancer’, while her look is completed with sexy messy looking hair and pink lips.
Another shot of the 33-year-old shows her wearing a backless dress with the same slogan written across her arm and neck, while she's pushing her hair to one side.

Discussing why she is taking part in the campaign, Sophie said: ‘Cancer has sadly touched my family, like so many others, and that is why I am so proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life this year.
‘I’d urge every woman out there to send a defiant message to cancer, by signing up to a Race for Life event now. If everyone gets involved by taking part and fundraising I believe that one day we will beat this awful disease that affects us all and we will win the battle.’
Xtra Factor’s Caroline uses her most famous asset - her toned legs- for her message ‘jog on cancer’.
In one image she appears in a short Peter Pan collar dress, with no shoes on, suggestively lifting up her skirt a little.

Another shows the pretty presenter wearing a stripped dress, while again she is bare foot.
Speaking about the great cause Caroline said: ‘Sadly cancer is something that unites everyone, so we all need to join in the fight against cancer and come together to tell it where to go!
‘Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life gives all women, regardless of who they are and where they are from, the opportunity to look cancer in the face and say ‘watch out!’.

‘All you ladies out there please get your family and friends together this summer and sign up to an event to help make a real difference and show cancer that we mean business!’

Leigh-Anne Pinnock has the word ‘in‘ on her stomach, Jade Thirwall has ‘your’ on her arm, Jesy Nelson has ‘face’ on her chest, while Perrie Edwards has 'cancer' scrawled on her leg.

The X Factor songstresses opened up about their involvement, saying: ‘We are incredibly proud to be supporting Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and helping the charity to fight a disease that affects every single one of us in some way.
