A taste of the sweet life: Skinny Kendall Jenner tucks into calorific cupcake... after complaining that she can't put on weight

'A moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips'... it's the the dilemma faced by many a weight-conscious person when it comes to getting a calorific sugar fix.
But for 17-year-old Kendall Jenner, who still has youth and a high metabolism on her side, shovelling down cupcakes is all the more delicious.
In a recent interview, the reality star revealed she is actually trying to put on weight following jibes about her slender figure - but just can't seem to.
Kendall was spotted in Calabasas, California where she visited the popular Crumbs Bake Shop with her younger sister Kylie, 15.

Kendall - who is the half-sister of reality stars Kourtney, Khloe and Kim Kardashian – wore a pair of blue skinny jeans with a cream spaghetti strap top which was elasticated at the waist.
The brunette wore her hair in a half-up-half-down style and teamed her clothing with flat beige and black pumps as she carried out two large paper bags of purchases, her sibling showing off some of their buys by toting a container in her hand.
But the duo didn’t leave before tucking into a high calorie and fat-laden product.

Kendall and Kylie – who wore black leggings, a T-shirt, ankle boots and a printed scarf – sat in the window for all to see they have no problem chowing down on the sweet stuff.
They both smiled as the older of the two broke off a piece for her sister to devour as they shared one plate.
In the latest issue of Arabia’s Harper’s Bazaar, Kendall explained: ‘I'm constantly criticised for being too skinny. I’m trying to gain weight but my body won’t let it happen.

‘What people don't understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat, it's not a nice feeling.'
The daughter of momager Kris Jenner and former athlete Bruce Jenner admitted that modelling has helped her overcome her shyness.
Now she is speaking up to defend herself against critics.
'It’s true, I used to be so shy. I used to never talk, just sit back and do my thing,' she explains.
'I was never bullied though, and it was never like it was something that needed to be “fixed”, like being shy is a bad thing.’
