It's one of the biggest rules when attending a wedding - don't try and upstage the bride, and certainly don't show up in white.
But Katherine Jenkins risked overshadowing her sister during her nuptials on Saturday as she arrived in her bridesmaid dress - which was an off white colour.
The opera singer stunned in her figure hugging floorlength gown with sheer detailing above her sweetheart neckline over her bust.

She completed her butter wouldn't melt look with a pair of baby pink sky high peep-toe heels, while she put her blonde locks in an up 'do with loose curls hanging down.
The 32-year-old looked tanned and grinned as she carefully stepped out of her chauffeur driven car carrying her bouquet of matching white flowers.
As she turned around, Katherine revealed a large bow on her back as she ushered her sister Laura Jenkins inside the civil ceremony in central London.

Laura herself, who works for Macmillan Cancer Support, arrived beaming as she showed up in her own white bridal gown ready to marry accountant partner Gavin.
She sheltered from the rain and snow thanks to a pal holding an umbrella over her head, while she happily carried her large gown high to avoid it scraping along the damp floor.
After arriving in a special white coloured London cab for the all white themed day, Laura walked behind her mother who carried her bouquet for her until she was safely inside.

Katherine then walked into the venue ahead of her sister, looking proud as she looked back at her on her special day.
Happy to let her sibling take centre stage for once, Laura then joined her now husband inside.
He was later seen posing outside the venue with his ushers looking dapper in a black suit, white tuxedo and matching white flower on his pocket to complete the theme.

Katherine herself has been engaged before - to TV presenter and fellow Welsh man Gethin Jones.
But the pair split at the end of 2011 after four years together.
She has largely been single ever since, despite previous rumours of romances with her Dancing With The Stars partner Mark Ballas, as well as his pal Derek Hough.
White theme: She may have been wearing an off white colour but it seems her sister chose an all white theme, including the flowers in the bouquets

Last year she was also forced to vehemently deny she had an affair with David Beckham behind Victoria's back, taking to Twitter to deny speculation.
Recently she has been keeping herself busy training for the London marathon.
