Her sisters and 59-year-old mother had enjoyed the red carpet glamour of the Met Gala.
But for 17-year-old Kylie Jenner, there was plenty of catching up to do when she joined older sister Kendall and her gaggle of supermodel mates for the afterparties in New York.
The teenager wore shredded shorts that revealed some black high-waisted knickers and also a netted Moschino top that exposed her bra to party with her older boyfriend Tyga, 25 late into the night when the extravagant bash had finished, having flown in from Los Angeles especially.

One of the perils of being the last of four sisters is that Kylie was still too young to enjoy Anna Wintour's highly publicised annual costume gala.
Kylie's sibling Kendall, half sister Kim and mother Kris were all decked out in their finery to walk the red carpet in New York, but for Kylie it was a not-so glamorous night flight, followed by a barely-there party outfit.
The brunette was lead to the post-Gala parties by the hand, as she joined Hailey Baldwin and some of her big sister's pals to party into the night.

She appeared to have flown in especially with her older, rapper boyfriend the same day, when they were seen at LAX airport.
Kylie had slipped into her partying get up, while Tyga looked equally as comfortable as he had in the day when he sported two oversized T-shirts and jeans.
Earlier that day, dressed in her slouchy clothes, it had been enjoying a low-key trip out of Los Angeles with older boyfriend.

The brunette beauty, the youngest of the Kardashian clan, even tweeted to say that she was 'over' heels as she headed to the airport in comfy trainers.
The starlet wore a baggy red hoodie and oversized shades, keeping her hair covering her face as she entered departures separately from her rapper boyfriend.
On her way out that evening, she wrote: 'I'm so over heels right now' as she posted a picture of her cobalt trainers.

It had been a departure from her usual ill-advised ensembles, that have seen her criticised for not dressing age appropriately.
Kylie has been more comfortable in thigh-high boots, bralets and eye-wateringly short shorts, judging by her Instagram page.
The brunette has just recently purchased her first house and tried to trademark her first name in recent weeks.
Kylie spent an outrageous $2.75million on a lavish mansion in Calabasas ahead of her 18th birthday, which comes is not for another three months.
