A Bear has taught two Foxes to survive in the wilderness - as actor cousins Emilia Fox and Laurence Fox join Bear Grylls on new TV series Mission Survive.

The upcoming ITV show sees famous adventurer Grylls take eight celebrities deep into an unforgiving Central American rainforest for a 12-day survival odyssey.

The line-up includes former England and Gloucester rugby centre Mike Tindall, currently starring in Channel 4 winter sports show The Jump, and double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes.

Viewers will also see singer and actor Max George, TV presenter Jamelia, comedy actor Tom Rosenthal and DJ, model and presenter Vogue Williams pushed to the limit.

Grylls, 40, will eliminate one contestant at the end of every episode before the crowning of the Mission Survivor.

The contestants have been taught to search for shelter, water, fire and food, abseil down ferocious waterfalls, cross perilous rapids, trudge through swamps, negotiate razor-sharp vines - and contend with scorpions, snakes and sand flies.

Laurence Fox, best know for playing Detective Sergeant James Hathaway in drama series Lewis, said he missed his wife Billie Piper, sons Winston and Eugene and cigarettes the most while filming the series.

Asked why he had signed up, the 36-year-old said his cousin Emilia had given him 'almost no option'.

'As a relatively private person, it’s not something that I would ordinarily do,' he said. 'Whilst having lunch with my cousin Emilia last year, I asked her what she was up to next.

'She mentioned Mission Survive. I won’t say she forced, but let’s say she gave me almost no option but to accompany her on the trip as she was having butterflies.

'A phone call was made, and here we are.'

Emilia, 40, said that doing the show was a “once in a lifetime chance” to learn about survival from someone as experienced as Grylls.

Tindall, 36, also said that he had missed wife Zara Phillips and their daughter Mia during the shoot.

But he added: 'It was an amazing opportunity and I feel so lucky to have had the chance to take part.'

Grylls, who will also return to Channel 4 later this year in the second series of The Island, is assisted on the ground by expedition and survival experts Megan Hine and Scott Heffield.

He said: 'This show is all about empowerment and I am so proud of how the celebrity team who joined me on Mission Survive performed.

'It was without doubt a tough expedition, but also a very life-enhancing adventure for everyone involved.

'That’s the source of all genuine growth in a survivor. I was looking for the qualities that a survivor in a real-life scenario most needs: positivity, resourcefulness, courage, determination, and a whole heap of bloody mindedness.'

Her sex symbol status helped land her a place on the cover of the iconic Sports Illustrated Swimwear issue. 

But in a new cover shoot for The Editorial, sultry Nina Agdal wears considerably more - but also exposes  considerably more in a tasteful black and white shot that sees her cup one exposed breast with her left hand. 

Speaking to the first print issue of the magazine, she adopts a humble attitude when it comes to her status as one of the world’s most desirable women. 

‘I think it’s funny….When people meet me, they’re like, ‘You’re so down to earth,’’ she said.

But while she may be down to earth, the 21-year old model has high ambitions when it comes to her career – and she’s already set her sights on life beyond fashion. 

‘I would love to be in a James Bond movie,’ she said. ‘I just want to lay there with a glass of whiskey and a cigarette while somebody comes in and kills me. I think I could pull that off.’

Before that happens the Dane hopes to realize a dream that, given her current success, could well be achieved. 

‘To do Chanel would be the absolute dream,’ she admits.

The interview follows her recent split with former Wanted singer Max George. 

She has since flaunted her curves in a series of Instagram shots taken during a sunshine break in Mauritius.  

Holding her wet hair off her neck she stands with her legs slightly apart and her bottom sticking out – showing off her tassel detail of the bikini.

Another image sees her in a slightly more jovial pose – holding a windbreaker in place while still wearing her black and yellow bikini.

She captioned the image, in which she has her hair slicked off her face:  ‘Photo assisting/pro windbreaker.’

Max George and Sports Illustrated model Nina Agdal have reportedly split after just a few months of dating.

Max, 25 - who met Nina when they both starred in a Buffalo fashion campaign over a year ago - is believed to have ended the relationship near the time his band The Wanted confirmed their split.

A source told the Sun On Sunday: 'They just wanted different things out of the relationship and had grown slightly apart.'

'It was hard for Max to dump Nina so soon after news broke that The Wanted are breaking up,' the source added: ''But he is being optimistic. He is looking at it all as an opportunity for a fresh start. He's not one to get down in the dumps about things.'

MailOnline have contacted Max's representatives who declined to comment.

In October Max gushed about Nina in an interview with OK magazine, where he revealed they were friends for six months before things turned romantic.

‘She makes me laugh, She’s so funny and daft. She’s not at all high-maintenance – she just likes to have fun,’ he said. She’s just a mate and obviously, yes, she’s absolutely stunning.

But now the news of the split comes as no surprise as just last week Nina, 21, was spotted leaving a club in New York with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The pair were partying at Club Avenue until the early hours of Monday morning after the Super Bowl on Sunday.

The Wolf Of Wall Street star and Sports Illustrated model were spotted walking from the venue one after the other before piling into the same car and speeding off together.

He definitely has a type: The 39-year-old is currently dating 21-year-old model Toni Garrn, who he is seen with in November

They did their best not to be seen in the vehicle as Leo ducked down, while just Nina’s legs were visible in the back of the car.

Leonardo, 39, is also supposed to be dating 21-year-old Toni Garrn, so perhaps the actor was merely giving Nina a lift home.

Toni was flying solo just a few days later at the opening night of the 65th annual Berlinale International Film Festival, where she hit the red carpet for The Grand Budapest Hotel premiere.

And Nina Agdal showed exactly how she's managed to keep The Wanted heartthrob enthralled as she hit the beach for a sexy swimwear shoot for Californian-based company, Sauvage. 

Showcasing her envy-inducing figure and killer tan, the 21-year-old model looked utterly breathtaking as she ensured she did the skimpy designs justice while posing up a storm on the picture-perfect white sands of Mexico.

Creating stunning hourglass curves as she reclined on the beach, the Danish beauty displayed her washboard abs and long, lean limbs in a striking aqua string two-piece.

Another shot showed the catwalk queen sporting sexy tousled waves as she displayed her toned and tanned beach bod in a patterned red and gold halterneck number, before well and truly rocking a plunging baby pink cut-out bikini while wrapping her arms around her midriff. 

Nina later covered up in a canary yellow sheer kaftan with intricate turquoise beading as she soaked up the sun on the Mexican beach.

Nina proved just how devoted she is to her Mancunian beau by posting snaps of a full English breakfast and the Manchester City vs. Liverpool football match over the festive period. 

Alongside the shot of her calorific breakfast, she wrote: 'Happening.... Not crazy about the bury black pudding.... Sorry uk.'

Although Nina and Max's romance seems to be going from strength-to-strength, the Sports Illustrated model - who previously dated Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine - recently admitted she is too young to know what true love is.

She told Ocean Drive magazine: 'I am 21 years old, and I don't think anyone who is 21 knows what love is about yet. I think love just happens... I am not even worried about anything like that. If something is meant to be, then it will be.

'I feel like so many young girls have this idea of a relationship or marriage or love and [they] don’t even know. We are 21 years old, okay? Go out, have a tequila, and stop worrying about it.'

The 21-year-old bought her own brand of sunshine as she braved the elements to shoot a campaign for an accessories line while wearing a series of bikinis on Friday.

The Danish stunner was ever the professional as she had to strip down to the barely-there garments on a Los Angeles beach.

With the sunny city finally getting a taste of winter, the conditions were far from ideal but the model, and those around her, managed to make it appear as though she were on a tropical island.

The beauty is currently dating Max George from band The Wanted, but the singer was nowhere to be seen on Friday.

Max - who has known the model for years but has been dating her for just a few months - has declared Nina 'the most beautiful girl I've ever seen,' and he was certainly missing out as she perfectly posed.

While the shoot was for label Accessorize, the model wore an array of bikinis and other summery looks.

Max George has already declared her to be the ‘most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen’, and now Nina Agdal has proved just why The Wanted star is so besotted with her.

The Danish model is seen showing off her incredible body in a new swimwear shoot which sees her modelling a series of skimpy bikinis.

At 21-years-old, Nina is already a Sports Illustrated star and has modelled for the likes of Victoria’s Secret.

Nina’s latest shoot for The La Boheme swimwear proves she’s the perfect poster girl for bikinis. The shots see the blonde beauty in a series of colourful swimsuits including a halter neck design which features clashing leopard and floral prints. 

Another shot sees Nina showing off her pert behind in a turquoise and lilac two piece, whilst she also displays her curves in a plunging snake print one piece.

The unusual designs are said to be ‘inspired by a contemporary, multi-ethnic world filled with stories that combine traditional and futuristic folklores from across the globe’.

Max is sure to be impressed with his girlfriend’s latest venture, with the boyband star gushing about his new love in an interview with OK! this week.

The Wanted singer, who has been dating New York based Nina for several months, tells the magazine that their relationship works because they started out as friends:

‘One of the Lawson boys mentioned her to me so I started following her on Twitter, then we ended up bumping into each other in LA,’ Max recalls.

‘I’ve learnt my lesson from that not to dive in. You live and learn, don’t you?’
