They're more often seen sporting rather casual wear as they endure the trials and tribulations of Weatherfield.
But Coronation Street stars Jane Danson and Tina O'Brien showed their glamorous sides on Saturday at the North West RTS Awards. 
Jane, who plays Leanne Battersby in the ITV soap, looked stunning in a strapless black fit and flare Alesha Dixon-designed dress emblazoned with a red floral design.

Teaming the frock with black heels and a delicate silver bracelet, the 38-year-old  wore her blonde hair in its usual blonde bob, while glossy pink lipstick completed the look. 
Tina meanwhile, looked stunning in a black strapless dress with a frilled off-the-shoulder detail.
The pencil skirt accentuated her slim figure while a black choker added a more dramatic touch.

Her blonde hair was worn in loose curls over one shoulder and the star accesorised with a pair of strappy nude sandals and  a gold and black clutch bag and a slick of bright red lipstick. 
Tina arrived with her partner Adam Crofts who looked smart in a charcoal grey suit and mustard coloured tie.
At one point, she and Jane mingled with co-star Bhavna Limbachia who sported an embroidered black all-in-one ensemble.

The awards ceremony, hosted by Corrie's Les Dennis, celebrate the broadcast talent in the region both in front of, and behind the camera.
Jane and Tina are both nominees in the Best Performance in a Continuing Drama category alongside co-star Jack P Shepherd who plays David Platt and Alex Bain who stars as Simon Barlow.  
Other stars at the bash included ex-Corrie actress Shobna Gulati who looked stunning in a floor-length gown with sheer cream and white panels.

Tina Malone - nominated for in the Best Factual Entertainment Programme category for her  My New Body documentary looked in cheery spirits, arriving in a flouncy black gown. 
The 53-year-old actress, who arrived with husband Paul Chase, wore her hair slicked back and showed off her dramatically slim figure in the low cut gown. 
A pair of black and silver studded heels and a fury charcoal grey striped coat completed the look. 
Other attendees included Elbow singer Guy Garvey and his actress wife Rachael Stirling, while Royle Family stars Craig Cash and Sue Johnston had something of a reunion as they posed with Alison Steadman.

She managed to seduce her teacher, annoy her parents by becoming a topless model and broke Jason Grimshaw's heart.
And Rosie Webster is set to bring her own very special brand of carnage back to the cobbles, as Helen Flanagan is to return to Coronation Street after a five-year break.
Having left the soap in 2012, the actress, 26, will reprise the role she made famous at the end of the year - with her first scenes airing in February 2017.

Helen, who played the character for 12 years, is due to start filming scenes at the end of the year.
The vivacious brunette will come bouncing back into her mother and father's lives when she arrives back in Weatherfield from Miami alongside younger sister, Sophie.
Details of the storyline that sees her return are being kept under wraps, though she should be safe from any revenge reprisals carried out by John Stape (the teacher she seduced).
Speaking about her return to the soap, Helen said: 'I'm so excited to be returning to Coronation Street and being part of the Webster family again.'

Corrie boss Kate Oates said that it was the 'ideal time' to bring the character back, explaining: 'The Websters have missed Rosie and so have we. 
'With Sophie away on holiday with her sister it seemed like the ideal time to bring Rosie back home with her for a visit. 
'We are delighted that Helen is as keen explore what Rosie has been up to away from the cobbles as we are.'

It's currently four years since Rosie left the street to pursue sate her lust for fame, but her mother Sally has been away to visit her regularly - dropping hints on her return of what Rosie is up to.
The character was a regular fixture on the Northern soap from 1990-2012, and was played for nine years by Emma Collinge before Helen took over the role in 2000.
The eldest daughter of mechanic Kevin and local snob and gossip Sally, Rosie has caused her own fair share of drama on the cobbles.
After rebelling and becoming a goth, Rosie embarked on a disastrous affair with teacher John Stape which resulted in her being kidnapped.

Turning her eye to modelling and fame Rosie became a favourite among the Street's male population, though she found time to out father Kevin's affair with best-friend Tyrone Dobb's wife, Molly.
After leaving the soap in 2012 Helen had a stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2013 before taking a career break to start a family.
The actress has used her time out of the limelight to start a family with her long-term partner, the footballer Scott Sinclaire, and in 2015 she gave birth to the couple's first child, Matilda.
Speaking to ITV's Loose Women earlier this year, she said that being a mother to the 16-month-old tott had changed her priorities in life.
'[Matilda] has made me so much happier,' she explained. 'It changes your priorities and you realise what’s important but I am completely besotted with her.'
Adding: 'It is really full on but you don’t realise how much until you actually become a mother yourself.'
