Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose reveals she was thrilled to be 'a little more sexy' for CR magazine

'I turned 18, so I was ready to up the ante': Johnny Depp's daughter Lily-Rose reveals she was thrilled to be 'a little more sexy' for CR magazine

Lily-Rose Depp is already a vet in the modeling world with a contract for Chanel and a Vogue cover.
But now that the daughter of actor Johnny Depp and singer Vanessa Paradis has turned 18-years-old, she has decided to push her boundaries.
And that is why the blonde beauty is appearing topless for CR magazine, she explained, because she gets to be 'a little more sexy.'
A whole new LRD: Lily-Rose Depp decided to push her boundaries. And that is why the blonde beauty is appearing topless for CR magazine .

'I love working with Carine,' the star said of the fashion magazine editor Carine Roitfeld, 62. 'She actually styled the first shoot that I did for Chanel when I was 15.
Lily-Rose added: 'This time I got to show a little more skin and be a little more sexy. I had just turned 18, so I was ready to up the ante.'
The Tusk actress went bra free for the cover and added a plaid shirt, which was unbuttoned, and a cigarette in her mouth.

Her hair was worn in a high braid that was tight.
In another shot the Paris-born star - who speaks both French and English - had on no shirt, wrapping her arms around her chest to preserve her modesty.
She made the most of a pair of cut-off jeans that were unbuttoned and added short boots.

She was interviewed by Natalie Portman, who she worked with on Rebecca Zlotowski’s Planetarium, set in 1930s France.
The CR shoot was a highlight for the teen as she said she loved working with the photographer: 'Steven Klein had shot these amazing photographs of my mom when she was my age. We shot in front of a mirror with the pictures taped to it. I have a similar grungy look.'

It hasn't been all easy growing up with famous parents as some people have accused Lily-Rose of coasting on their coattails.
'A lot of people think I’m only acting because of my dad, that I have not had to work as hard to be seen or recognized in the industry, so I think because of that it makes me want to work twice as hard to prove to everyone that I’m not just doing this because it’s easy to do. I’m not just doing it because it runs in the family.'
As far as how she feels about growing up in both Paris and Hollywood, Depp said it has allowed her an interesting perspective.

'There’s something more personable in Europe than there is here,' she began.
'In the States, there’s more of a fa├žade that I see people putting on. For me, the French culture is richer. It’s also easy to prefer Europe give the present state of things. I would have been nicer to America a year ago. The way politics is going, it’s hard for me to sit down and point out all the things that I love about America.'
Depp began her acting career with a cameo role in Tusk alongside her friend Harley Quinn Smith, her father, and the film's director Kevin Smith.
Then her partnership with Chanel began in 2015. She started modeling for the eyewear line then went on to become the face of fragrance No°5 L'Eau.
In 2016 she dropped out of school to focus on her career.
She then reprised her Tusk role in Yoga Hosers, a spin-off that focuses on her and Harley Quinn Smith's characters. Next came the film The Dancer.
The 11th edition of CR has covers not just with Depp but also Lara Stone, shot by Steven Klein, and Alek Wek and Cara Taylor, shot by Mario Sorrenti.
In tandem, never before seen image of Prince, shot by Steven Klein, graces the cover of CR Men’s Issue 5.
Also in the issue is Justin Theroux, Rami Malek, Jasmine Sanders and Bonner Bolton.

Jonnie Peacock, Debbie McGee and Alexandra Burke complete the Strictly 2017 line-up!

  • Singer and West End performer Alexandra Burke is the final celebrity to be announced for Strictly 2017!
Alexandra said, “I am so excited to be joining this year’s Strictly cast! I love this show and have followed it from the beginning, so being able to be a part of it is just a dream come true for me - I still can’t believe it! I am very nervous as I am a singer not a dancer, but I am going to give this my absolute everything and try my best to make everyone proud.”
She first shot to fame after winning ITV’s The X Factor in 2008 and her debut single Hallellujah sold over one million copies and became the top selling single for that year in the UK – a first for a British female solo artist. Her first single after winning the show was Bad Boys with Flo Rida which was a success debuting at number one in the UK singles chart and selling nearly one million copies as well becoming a platinum single. Her other hit singles include Broken Heels, All Night Long featuring Pitbull and Start Without You.
In 2014, she made her West End debut playing Rachel Marron in the stage musical adaption of The Bodyguard and received a nomination for Best West End Newcomer at the West End Frame Awards. She has most recently been starring in Sister Act in the lead role of Doloris Van Cartier in the UK tour.
  • ..
  • The 13th celebrity to be announced on our Strictly Mega Monday is TV personality, presenter and wife to the late Paul Daniels, Debbie McGee!
“There are no words to describe how I feel about performing on Strictly Come Dancing," Debbie said. "The excitement is overwhelming. I can’t stop smiling. It’s been the hardest secret I have ever had to keep!”
She achieved national and international fame through television appearances with Paul and appeared alongside him in the BBC One series The Paul Daniels Magic Show which ran from 1979 to 1994. Her late husband, Paul was also a contestant on Strictly back in 2008.
Debbie's career has spanned the widest range of show business genres; including classical ballet, cabaret, theatre and films and in 2008, she added the role of Radio DJ to her already glittering CV, presenting her own Sunday morning show on BBC Radio Berkshire.
We can't wait to see the sprinkle of magic dust Debbie will add to her dances!
  • Double Paralympic, World and European T44 100m Champion, Jonnie Peacock is the penultimate announcement for Strictly 2017!
Jonnie said, “The opportunity to be the first contestant with a disability to take part in Strictly’s main show was too good to turn down. I’ve got no previous dance history outside of the occasional ‘worm’ at a mate’s party and I know this will be a challenge and a new experience. I can’t wait to see what I can achieve and how far I can push myself.”
He sensationally won his first Paralympic Gold medal in London 2012 in front of 80,000 people and has gone onto to win every major event that he’s entered, including the 2016 Paralympic Games and the 2017 World Championships in London this summer.
Jonnie, a below the knee amputee, contracted meningitis at the age of five, but has bounced back to become one of Britain’s best known and most successful Para Athletes, breaking the World Record in 2012, setting a Personal Best for the 100m of 10.64 seconds this year and being awarded an MBE in the 2013 New Year’s Honours for services to athletics. Away from the athletics track Jonnie wants to be an inspiration to young people of all abilities and is passionate about building the profile of disability sport both in Britain and around the World.
We can’t wait to see if he is first out of the blocks to get a 10!

And our Strictly celebrity number 12 is... Chizzy Akudolu!

Actress and comedian, Chizzy Akudolu, best-known for playing heart surgeon Mo Effanga, in BBC One’s Holby City is celeb number 12 for Strictly 2017!
Chizzy said, “When I was 13, I made the finals of a disco dancing competition once but there was this amazing girl who exploded onto the stage with a gorgeous sequined costume, throwing glitter everywhere… I knew it was game over for me. That was then, this is now and this is my chance to have even more sequins!”
Chizzy joined Holby back in 2012 and after five years, finally hung up her stethoscope in June. During her time on the show, she won the award for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the Black International Film Festival and Music Video and Screen Awards as well as ‘Best Actress’ in the same year at the BEFFTA Awards. She was also nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ at the National Television Awards.
She has also appeared in The Inbetweeners, EastEnders, Silent Witness, Hollyoaks and Twenty Twelve. Her background is in comedy acting and she is also a writer and producer. Earlier this year, she took part in BBC One’s Let’s Sing and Dance for Comic Relief with a duo from Casualty. The trio performed ‘Uptown Funk’ by Bruno Mars and were runners up. Let’s hope she can go all the way on Strictly!

Brian was confirmed as the 10th celebrity contestant to be donning the sequins only hours before the death of the Price Is Right presenter, who presented Strictly from 2004-2014.
In a statement this afternoon, Bruce's family said he died peacefully surrounded by his wife and children.
The statement read: 'It is with great sadness that the Forsyth family announce that Sir Bruce passed away this afternoon, peacefully at his home surrounded by his wife Wilnelia and all his children.
'A couple of weeks ago, a friend visited him and asked him what he had been doing these last eighteen months.

'With a twinkle in his eye, he responded "I've been very, very busy... being ill!" Unfortunately, not long after this, his health deteriorated and he contracted bronchial pneumonia.
'The family would like to express their thanks to the many people who have sent cards and letters to Bruce wishing him well over his long illness and know that they will share in part, the great, great loss they feel.'
Sir Bruce is loved around the country for his 75-year TV career presenting shows including The Generation Game, Play Your Cards Right and Strictly.
It comes after a series of health scares for the TV star, who was rushed to hospital with a severe chest infection earlier this year.
Sir Bruce was forced to undergo keyhole surgery following a fall at his home in October 2015 after two aortic aneurysms were discovered.

'I know it’s going to be a lot of hard work but I'm up for the challenge, so bring on the spray tan and sequins.'

Fellow comedian Susan was the ninth person to be announced for the Strictly Come Dancing line-up on Tuesday, but the latest addition divided fans of the BBC show.
The Scottish comedian and actress, 42, is best known for her appearances as a panelist on BBC Radio 4 topical shows The News Quiz and I Guess That's Why They Call It The News.
The dancing contest, which airs in September, has already confirmed eight other celebrity contestants for the popular show- but  fans have been sent into a frenzy over the calibre of celebrities in the line-up.
Exited: Susan Calman is the ninth person to be announced for the Strictly Come Dancing line-up
The news was revealed on Jeremy Vine's BBC radio 2 show this afternoon, and speaking to her co-host she said: 'I've been a Strictly fan for years. I love the show because I love people who go for it.'
'It's entertaining and I am going to do my absolute best to do that for people sitting at home. I can't wait'.
However some Strictly fans remained unconvinced, questioning her eligibility to be on the show as well as the other celebrities.
'And the next 'celebrity' I've never heard of to take to the dancefloor IS... #waitingwithbaitedbreath #Strictly #Strictly2017 #BBC,' one unimpressed viewer wrote.

And one fan wrote: Very disappointed in this #Strictly2017 line up so far. A snoozefest ! There is still time to bag some B-list!'.
One fan said 'I'm not bothered I still don't know who she is'

And adding a hilarious twist, she then tweeted: 'I haven't worn heels or a dress since I was 17. Haven't danced with a man in over a decade. Strictly, I'm ready'.
On Monday Aston Merrygold was announced as the eighth celebrity taking part in the forthcoming fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The former JLS star, 29 - who has frequently showed off his dancing capabilities - couldn't contain his delight as he revealed: 'I'm so happy to be joining Strictly. It is such a brilliant show and I've followed it for years.'
However the announcement didn't seem to sit well with some die-hard fans of the BBC competition as they pointed out he was previously in a dance-heavy boyband and was also formerly a judge of a dance series.
Continuing to gush about joining the line-up, Aston revealed: 'I'm both nervous and excited to learn from the professionals about a whole new way of dancing!'

However, unimpressed future viewers of the series were quick to point out his past dance experience with the following tweets:
'Aston Merrygold doing Strictly is like Bear Grylls doing I'm A Celeb.'
'Wasn't he a judge on a dance show? (Got to Dance on Sky 1).'
'People can pipe down already. how many times does it have to be said that BR/Latin isn't the same as what they've done previously?'

'I'm less fond of this announcement. I'm sure he's a lovely guy but it's hard to root for him given his background.'
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Aston for further comment.
Aston was heavily reported to be joining the cast of the upcoming season of Strictly, which will no doubt add to his impressive repertoire of dancing endeavours.
Sources initially claimed the accomplished break-dancer's years of experience with JLS, coupled with a former judging role on talent show Got to Dance, gives him a clear advantage over his competitors.

An insider told The Sun: 'It doesn't have to be ballroom or Latin dancing experience to give someone an edge.
'Aston spent years being choreographed in JLS and that rhythm and ability to follow instructions puts him streets ahead of competitors.
'And if there was ever proof he knows a thing or two about dancing, he was a judge in a dance talent show.'
And the criticism continued to flock in on social media:

The beloved BBC show took to their Twitter page to confirm the 54-year-old, best known for hosting Channel 4's Sunday Brunch, will be taking to the famous ballroom floor this autumn.
Speaking ahead of his appearance, Simon could not contain his excitement at the prospect of learning to dance, admitting: 'Nobody will try harder, have more fun or get more out of it than me. I can't wait.'

A self-professed fan of the show, Simon himself admitted he is extremely 'excited' but also 'terrified' at the thought of hitting the dance floor, clad in sequins and fake tan.
He said: 'I am so excited, terrified and proud to be invited to be part of Strictly 2017. I've always been a HUGE fan of the show.

She added: 'My aim it's just to not go out first, I would love to get to the final, absolutely.'

'I'm so proud. I think you'll be an inspiration for older women everywher,' he said to his wife of seven years - who have been together for nearly two decades.
Explaining how she'll manage the commitment, Ruth said: 'I'd be working and then rehearsing in the afternoon.'

Ruth went on to say what she's most nervous about: 'The reveal show is the first time [she will meet her professional partner], I thought 'oh come on, I bet they tell you', but the reveal show is the first time. I do worry about who will have to lift me up. It is hard work, you have to put the work in.'
She added: 'That's my worry, remembering [the routines], because some of it is so fast.'
Eamonn also added jokingly: 'I think Strictly is fine for people who are resting between jobs but she's flat out, she's got a lot of work and there's family responsibilities that'll be neglected, I've got to worry about who or what is going to be around, what's in the fridge. When's she gonna get time to train? You're gonna be grumpy and tired.'

Despite the fun of learning a new skill, Mollie admitted that she's worried about Strictly's answer to Mr Nasty, Craig Revel Horwood, critiquing her routines.
