The new issue of W magazine puts the spotlight on who's next in the worlds of film, fashion and entertainment.

Taking centre stage on the publication's April cover are young starlets Kiernan Shipka, Zendaya and Willow Smith.

In the feature titled 'Dream Teens' the wise-beyond-their-years trio talk about their careers so far, their love of fashion and their biggest movie crushes.

The Oakland-born teen revealed her fondness for Hollywood's biggest heartthrobs when asked about her movie crushes.

'In the non-weirdest way possible, Johnny Depp! Leonardo DiCaprio! Idris Elba! I have talent crushes.

'My room used to be full of Michael Jackson posters. Now I have a poster from the musical The Band Wagon.' hinting at her maturing taste with her admiration of the 1953 Fred Astaire flick.

The Disney star gushed about the moment Mattel made a Barbie that resembled her last year.

She explained: 'After my Oscar moment, Mattel contacted us. They specifically wanted to make a Barbie that looked like me, in my exact outfit from the Oscars.

'I was so excited that Barbie wanted to diversify their brand. Now all little girls can have a Barbie that looks like them. My Barbie is in a box. I never let anyone touch her.'

The former Shake It Up star revealed that she never played with Barbies when she was a child because 'They didn’t look like me.'

Mad Men actress Kiernan discussed her love of attending Paris fashion shows, learning French and growing up on the hit AMC show.

The 16-year-old star was homeschooled throughout the eight years she starred on Mad Men and said there's only one thing she feels she missed out on.

'I do want to go to the prom. Or several proms, hopefully. That’s my goal. I’ve been to the Emmys, but prom—that’s where it’s at.'

Asked about her movie crush, the Chicago native replied: 'I love Eddie Redmayne. I first saw him in Les Mis; I thought he was so, so good. And then The Theory of Everything came out, and he was spectacular. And he’s great in The Danish Girl. I love his commitment to his roles. He has great style too.'

At just 15-years-old there's no question Willow Smith knows who and what she likes.

The songstress - who began her pop career with hit Whip My Hair in 2011 - reveals she is inspired by her actress mother Jada Pinkett.

'When she was on tour with Ozzfest, she was very raunchy. I loved watching her onstage.' the precocious teen said.

The new face of Chanel, who signed with IMG models last year, described the pictures that adorn the walls of her bedroom.

'I have John Lennon. I have a bunch of Hindu posters that are more like tapestries. And I have Tupac. He’s a tapestry, too.'

Kate Bosworth cuts a striking figure in an elegant floral dress as she joins Kiernan Shipka at star-studded Chanel party

She never puts a foot wrong when it comes to fashion.

And Kate Bosworth put on yet another fashionable display as she attended Chanel's I Love Coco Backstage Beauty Lounge at Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood on Thursday night.

Joined by a host of stars, which included the equally stylish Mad Men star Kiernan Shipka, 16, the Blue Crush actress, 33, dazzled on the night.

Twice as nice: Kate Bosworth, 33, and Kiernan Shipka, 16, both put on a stylish display at the I Love Coco Backstage Beauty Lounge which was held at California's Chateau Marmont on Thursday evening

Showing off her style prowess, Kate slipped her lithe frame into a flared midi dress that hugged her toned figure before flaring out into a full skirt that fell just above the ankle. Featuring a fun and flirty floral print and a striped hem, the star cut a striking figure on the evening - which celebrated the launch of a pop of beauty event.

Adding some height to her petite frame with a pair of gold heels, she donned some extra glitz in the form of an embellished taupe clutch bag.

Leaving her golden locks loose and poker straight, she tucked her glossy tresses behind her ears to reveal a pair of glittering drop down gems which perfectly complemented her ensemble.

Finishing off her striking look, she wore a slick of red lipstick on her plump pout whilst her sparkling blue eyes were lined with lashings of mascara.

Turning heads in her ensemble, the pretty star seemed to struck gold again in the style stakes yet again.

Earlier this month, the star had jetted to New York for Fashion Week after rightfully earning herself a place to all the most elite shows.

But whilst she has been making the rounds in the fashion world, Kate hasn't neglected her acting career, and will be seen next in Before I Wake, which hits cinemas on April 8.

The movie sees Kate and Thomas Jane play a couple who adopt an orphaned child (played by Room's Jacob Tremblay), whose dreams and nightmares manifest into reality while he is alseep.

Not-so mellow yellow: Also demonstrating a mature flair for fashion, Dakota Fanning, 22, cut a striking figure at the event in a white crop top with a lemon yellow skirt and chunky heels

Also making a stylish impression among the star-studded guest list, Kiernan, 16, looked lovely in a chunky knitted top.

Showing off her quirky fashion sense, she donned a multicoloured jumper that featured padded shoulders and a large front pocket.

Finishing off the outfit she wore a pair of blue linen shorts and slipped her feet into a pair of heeled sandals.

Goofing around: Willow seemed to be in good spirits as she shared a joke with her friend and showed off her quirky style sense in a pair of flared black trousers that she teamed with a leather jacket

Fashionable friends: Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski rocked a low-key look in ripped jeans, whilst Nora Zehetner embodied old school Chanel glamour in a cream cropped jacket with a black tasseled skirt

Girl group: Willow posed up a storm with her friends who seemed to be enjoying themselves

Styling her golden tresses in a centre parting, she wore her locks across her face to create a side parting.

Painting her lips with a slick of red gloss, the teenager proved she was a fashionista in the making with her quirky yet chic outfit.

Also demonstrating a mature flair for fashion, Dakota Fanning, 22, cut a striking figure at the event in a white crop top with a lemon yellow skirt.

Playing around with colours and textures, the War Of The Worlds star put on a stylish display in her simple yet eye-catching outfit.

Also in attendance at the Chanel event were the likes of Willow Smith, Ashley Benson and Dakota Fanning.

Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg, 17, comes out as bisexual in a Snapchat video, as she praises close friend Willow Smith for helping her to embrace her true identity

Amandla posted a series of impassioned videos on the Teen Vogue Snapchat account to celebrate being the magazine's latest cover girl
The actress said that, as a 'black bisexual woman', she knows how 'deeply bruising' it can be to try and 'fight against your identity'
She urged other black women to 'express your joy and your love and your tears, and be big and bold'

The Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg has come out as bisexual in a series of emotional Snapchat videos.

During a day-long takeover of the Teen Vogue Snapchat account, the 17-year-old actress, who appears on the cover of the magazine's latest issue, explained to fans that she 'identifies as a black bisexual woman', before admitting that it had taken her some time to feel comfortable about openly revealing and embracing her sexuality.

'It's a really, really hard thing to be silenced and it's deeply bruising to fight against your identity and to mold yourselves into shapes that you just shouldn't be in,' she said in the candid clip, which was also posted on her Tumblr page. 'As someone who identifies as a black bisexual woman, I've been through it and it hurts and it's awkward and it's uncomfortable.

The star then went on to pay tribute to women like Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles, who interviewed her for Teen Vogue, singer Willow Smith and Selma director Ava DuVernay, noting that they have helped her to 'realize that there is absolutely nothing to be changed [about my identity]'.

'I realized because of Solange and Ava DuVernay and Willow, and all the black girls watching this right now, that there is absolutely nothing to be changed,' she told the camera. 'We cannot be suppressed, we are meant to express our joy and our love and our tears, and be big and bold and definitely not easy to swallow.

'I definitely believe in the concept of rebellion through self-hood, and rebellion just by embracing your true identity no matter what you are being told. Here I am being myself and it's hard and vulnerable and it's definitely a process, but I'm growing and I'm learning.'

Amandla, who appeared in first installment of The Hunger Games movie series as Rue, the young sidekick to Jennifer Lawrence's character Katniss, finished off the series of clips by calling her fellow women to action, noting that there is still 'a lot of work to do for all women of color'.

'This is just the beginning though...' she said. 'We need more representation in film and in television and we need our voices to be louder in the media.

'And not just women of color, [but] bisexual women, gay women, transgender women, mentally-ill women. I'm sick of all the misogyny and homophobia and transphobia that I see around me and I know you are too!'

Although this is the first time that Amandla has revealed herself to be bisexual, it is certainly not the first time that she has spoken out candidly about race issues, or in support of her fellow black women.

In July last year, the teen accused Kylie Jenner of 'appropriating black culture' after the reality star shared an image of herself with her hair styled into cornrows.

At the time, Amandla aired her frustrations in a comment posted on an Instagram photo of Kylie modeling the hairstyle, writing: 'When u appropriate black features and culture but fail to use ur position of power to help black Americans by directing attention towards ur wigs instead of police brutality or racism #whitegirlsdoitbetter. [sic]'

Kylie, whom is thought to have once dated Amandla's close friend Jaden Smith, son of actor Will, fired back, writing: 'Mad if I don't, Mad if I do…. Go hang w Jaden or something.'

When Amandla was first revealed as the lucky young star who had been chosen to play Rue in the hugely-popular sci-fi movie series, the casting announcement also sparked a shocking race row, with many fans of the books taking to social media to complain about the fact that a 'black actress' had been cast in the role.

'I was pumped about the Hunger Games. Until I learned that a black girl was playing Rue,' one person wrote, while another added: 'Kk call me racist but when I found out Rue was black her death wasn't as sad #ihatemyself'
