Roxanne Pallett stands out in vibrant fuchsia dress as she attends press night for Rod Stewart musical

Bright and breezy! Roxanne Pallett stands out in vibrant fuchsia dress as she attends press night for Rod Stewart musical

She recently opened up about the terrifying cancer battle that almost resulted in her losing a breast, but Roxanne Pallett appeared to have put her recent troubles behind her on Tuesday during her latest public appearance in Manchester.
The former Emmerdale star stood out in a vibrant fuchsia dress for an evening out at the press night for Rod Stewart musical Tonight’s The Night at Manchester Palace.
Roxanne matched her breezy outfit with a black leather jacket and matching shoes after arriving at the theatre, which will play host to the touring show for five consecutive days before it moves on to Liverpool.

The actress continued a balanced theme by opting for a single neutral accessory in the form of a black, embellished leather handbag.
With her long hair carefully fringed, the 31-year-old was in high spirits as she paused for photographers before making her way inside, where a host of guests had gathered for the celebratory show feauring 25 of Rod’s biggest hits – amongst them Hot Legs, Do Ya Think I’m Sexy and Maggie May.
Earlier this month Roxanne  revealed how she was rushed to hospital for an emergency operation in December after discovering a 'small discoloured mark' near her left nipple.

After being referred to a skin specialist and being told the mark was in fact a potentially cancerous growth, Roxanne was forced to go under the knife to have it removed - before then facing a four-week wait over the festive period to discover whether or not the doctors managed to remove the whole thing.
And, if she hadn't raised her concerns about the mark during a routine health check, she could have potentially lost her left breast if she had left the cancer to grow for just one more week.
Roxanne told the Sun On Sunday: 'If they hadn't caught it in time, the cancer would have spread and I would have needed further surgery and chemotherapy immediately.'

Following the operation, which saw surgeons have to 'dig down' in order to confirm the very rare form of cancer that she was suffering from hadn't spread to Roxanne's lymph nodes, the actress has been left with a one-inch long scar on her breast.
She said of the procedure: 'I woke up feeling like a forklift truck had dropped a ton of bricks on my chest.'
But Roxanne said she was determined not to let the lasting reminder of the terrifying cancer battle affect her femininity, instead describing it as her 'badge of honour'.
She added: 'You actually feel more feminine - because you feel more powerful as your body has won.'

Christopher Malone quits X Factor Final after foulmouthed rant at Carolynne Poole

'Worse for wear' Christopher Malone quits X Factor Final after foulmouthed rant at Carolynne Poole

Early exit: Christopher Maloney will no longer appear in Sunday night's X Factor final
Early exit: Christopher Maloney will no longer appear in Sunday night's X Factor final
He exited the competition on Saturday night's show after landing in third place behind Jahmene Douglas and James Arthur
But Christopher Maloney has waved an early goodbye to his X Factor journey after deciding he doesn't want to take part in the series final on Sunday night
The 34-year-old singer is said to have riled bosses with his 'abusive' attitude towards his fellow contestants during rehearsals, before 'storming out' and returning to Liverpool.
Production sources have claimed Christopher turned up 'late' for rehearsals and appearing 'visibly worse for wear', while contestants allegedly maintained they could smell alcohol on his breath.
An X Factor spokesperson told MailOnline: 'Chris decided he no longer wanted to be part of The X Factor Final and has gone back to Liverpool.'
The Liverpudlian wannabe was allegedly angered when he realised he had only been given one line in the group medley, and 'stormed off' to his nearby hotel.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Everyone is completely fed up of his behaviour. He was abusive to the production team and other contestants.
'He said he was leaving and didn't want to perform in the final tonight.'
Christopher is said to have returned to rehearsals at Manchester Central after 30 minutes, and 'laughed' while the other contestants attempted to perform.
But the final straw allegedly came when he had a row with former X Factor star Carolynne Poole, who exited the show in the first episode.

The former cruise ship singer later appeared to deny claims he stormed off, tweeting: 'Thank u @thexfactor had a wonderful Time. an amazing experience. love u all. sorry I had a sore throat an doctor signed me off. good luck x'.
But it was clear there was no love lost between him and Carolynne, with the star later aiming a tirade of abuse at her, before claiming he was being 'bullied'.
Writing on his Twitter page, he said: '@CarolynnePoole you'll do anything to get a headline! disgraceful! week one! bitter.'

He then added: 'take no notice of crap in papers! I'm fine. it's just a final stretch of sensational headlines lol. whatever xx we know the truth.
'yes I am being bullied! big time. there u go xx witch hunt.
'thank u all so much for ur love help and support. thinking everyone wants a final dig. disgusting xx love u na nite.'
Christopher left The X Factor on Saturday night after losing out in the public vote to James Arthur and Jahmene Douglas.
Speaking to Dermot O'Leary after learning of his exit, Christopher said: 'I feel like I've already won.
'The critiques I've had and negative press, I'm the third finalist and thanks to everyone that's been supporting.
Goodbye: Christopher waited to hear his fate with mentor Gary Barlow on Saturday night
Goodbye: Christopher waited to hear his fate with mentor Gary Barlow on Saturday night
His mentor Gary said: 'Congratulations you've done brilliantly.'
Christopher's exit is likely to please X Factor boss Simon Cowell, who was reportedly concerned how he could market Christopher as an artist if he won the top prize.
Earlier this week, Louis Walsh explained he had spoken to Simon on the phone about the three finalists, saying: 'I know he loves James and Jahmene but I don’t remember him talking about Chris, no.'
During his stint on The X Factor, it was alleged Christopher had attempted to strangle a colleague as they worked on a cruise ship together.
Left out? Christopher was said to have been angered by just having one line in the finalists' medley ahead of Sunday night's performance

Janette Galbraith from Milton Keynes claimed the terrifying confrontation occurred when they were both working on the MSC Lirica ship back in 2005 following an argument about him bringing someone back to the cabin they shared together.
She said: 'His face totally changed. It was like he was someone else. His eyes started to burn red and he began shouting. He lunged towards me and grabbed me around the throat. I screamed and tried to get him off.
'Somehow I managed to get loose and ran out of the cabin, crying. I cried for hours that night.'
Meanwhile, Christopher was reportedly fired from his job at a Liverpool debt collection agency for 'serious misconduct' after 'lunging across a desk at a female manager'.
Fall-out: Christopher was allegedly 'abusive' towards Carolynne Poole (pictured) and his fellow contestants

A former colleague told the Sunday Mirror: 'That isn't the real Maloney you see on TV, he's got a temper on him. I'm surprised people haven't seen through him.'
And the singer's fellow contestants have made no secret of the fact that he was an 'outsider' in the group.
Kye Sones recently said: 'All of us have got really close and then you’ve got Chris. We’ve been a really strong group and he’s been an outsider - and that’s nothing to do with any of us lot.
'He’s very tactical. There are two different people - one when cameras are there and one when they’re not there.'
But in spite of the singer's apparent popularity, voting figures revealed on spin-off show The Xtra Factor prove Christopher won the public vote for the first seven consecutive weeks.

Meanwhile, the X Factor final had its worst audience for seven years on Saturday night and again failed to beat rival Strictly Come Dancing.
The Saturday night final of the ITV1 show trailed its BBC1 rival by 1.3 million viewers.
X Factor attracted an average audience of 9.5 million for the first stage of the final - the lowest audience since 2005 when 9.2 million watched Shayne Ward win the show.
By contrast Saturday night's edition of Strictly saw the highest peak audience of the series, with 12.2 million tuning in at one stage.
Sunday's show saw James Arthur crowned winner of The X Factor 2012.

X Factor reject Carolynne Poole frolics on the beach in bright pink bikini

She gets our vote! X Factor reject Carolynne Poole shows off her enviable figure as she frolics on the beach in bright pink bikini

She may have been the first finalist to leave this year's X Factor finals, but Carolynne Poole can still win some votes.
Pictures have emerged of the pretty brunette showing off her enviable figure in a pink bikini as she was frolicking on the shores of Majorca, just before the live shows started.
The 32-year-old country singer went on a girls holiday to get some much needed rest before she went on the show, which she had to leave after the first live performance.

But the singer showed she definitely has the X Factor when it comes to sizzling on the beach.
Playing around on the Spanish coast, Carolynne cooled off in the water and showed off her curves in the process.
Despite suffering the embarrassment of having the leave the popular ITV show first, the singer has vowed to continue her solo career.

Speaking to Daily Star Sunday, the sexy brunette revealed her disappointment after judge Louis Walsh booted her off the show in favour of Rylan Clarke.
The controversial move prompted her gutted mentor, Gary Barlow, to leave the stage.
But Carolynne says despite the disappointing outcome, she doesn't regret going on the show and has had several offers from other music producers because of it.

She even scored her first gig on Saturday night, when she supported Leona Lewis at her G-A-Y gig at Heaven in London.
'I've had producers sending me tracks, I've been invited to Nashville to do some writing over there with country writers ... and Gary has been great,' she told the Sunday paper.
Carolynne says her former mentor has been in touch every day, and has offered her his help in trying to launch her music career.

'I'm touched he's kept in touch,' the emerging singer said.
Even though she got the boot, Carolynne says she'll still consider going back on the show seeing as last year wild card entry Amelia Lily was brought back by the show's producers.
'If there was an opportunity to go back on the show then I'll be there 100%.'

      Show producer Richard Holloway hits

Happy ... Louis Walsh, Nicole Scherzinger and Richard Holloway after the show
THE telly supremo accused of rigging Sunday’s X Factor insisted last night amid uproar: “I did nothing wrong.”
Producer Richard Holloway, 63, hit back over being seen speaking to Louis Walsh just before angel-voiced Carolynne Poole got the boot.
A fan who claimed he was in the audience later said he heard Walsh tell fellow judge Tulisa Contostavlos he was briefed NOT to save the brunette after her sing-off with Rylan Clark.
The two — bottom in the public vote — were at the mercy of the four judges.
Walsh was visibly distraught as his decision meant camp Ryan was spared.

'Fix' ... Louis Walsh is briefed by Holloway just before result was announced

Holloway insisted: “We never tell the judges what to do.” He said he only told Walsh he was voting last and it would be “impossible” to overhear his conversation.
Late last night Gary Barlow admitted the row had affected him, tweeting: “Been hard to get motivated today.” He sent a message to Carolynne saying: “Good luck. Anything you need I’m here.”
The show — hit by previous “fix” scandals over Jedward and Cher Lloyd — was watched by 11.2million. Almost 2,000 complained. A Sun online poll asking if Sunday’s X Factor was rigged saw 95 per cent say it was.

      Rylan trolls in death threats

RYLAN Clark was yesterday rocked by DEATH THREATS.
The X Factor said it was ready to offer him “support” as trolls menaced the wannabe on Twitter.
His hell emerged as Carolynne Poole yesterday said she bore no grudge despite fury at him remaining in the show at her expense.

The Leeds singer, 33 — who said she cried all night after getting the boot — also forgave vote row judge Louis Walsh.
Carolynne said: “I got sent home and I have to accept it. I can’t go to war with X Factor. You have to play by their rules.”

Gary Barlow storms off The X Factor stage as Rylan Clarke is saved over Carolynne Poole

Gary Barlow storms off The X Factor stage as Rylan Clarke is saved over Carolynne Poole, who becomes the first act to be sent home

It was a tension-fueled first elimination show this Sunday as Rylan Clarke was saved and Carolynne Poole was sent home after The X Factor sing-off was taken to deadlock, thanks to a last minute decision by Louis Walsh.
After hearing that his act was the first to be booted off the show and that controversial Rylan was going through to next week, Gary Barlow stormed off the stage.
Without waiting to hear what his act Carolynne had to say, the Take That singer got up from his seat and left the arena, after criticising the Essex wannabe on Saturday night for his poor performance.

While Nicole Scherzinger and Gary both predictably voted to save their own acts, Tulisa Contostavlos voted for country singer Carolynn to stay in the competition.
But it was down to Louis Walsh to give the final vote and have his say on their fates in the competition.
Louis, whose group acts all went through to next week, took his time in making his decision before tentatively telling Dermot O'Leary that he wanted to save Carolynn.

When asked to state clearly who it was that he wanted to send home, Louis then dramatically changed his mind and told the host that he wanted to instead take the decision to deadlock, which caused a huge reaction in the audience and the other judges sitting beside him.
'I'm sorry, I'm changing my mind, I want to take it to deadlock,' he told Dermot.
Carolynne, who thought that she had been saved by the judges then faced uncertainty as the results of the viewers votes were read out.

Speaking backstage, Gary called the outcome an 'absolute joke', telling his act that 'two years running you've lost out to joke acts', a sentiment pointing to the fact that she narrowly missed getting to the live rounds last year when she originally applied for the show.

Her vocals even led to Gary Barlow commenting straight afterwards: 'I've got to be honest. there's nothing I hate more than someone singing my song ten million times better than me.'
She has now become favourite to win the competition, alongside shy singer Jahmene Douglas, who also managed to wow after battling his shyness.
James Arthur was also hailed during the night, as was Lucy Spraggan.
But boy band Union J were given some constructive crticism after their mentor Louis Walsh was slated for their Queen song choice.
EVen Louis admitted they;d have to work harder next week to show them at their full potential.
