Cheer up Simon! Cowell fails to see the funny side as he sports comedic red nose at theatre gala performance with Sinitta
He's known for using his fortune and fame to help charities throughout the world.
But despite doing a good deed by attending the Red Nose Day performance of The Book Of Mormon on Wednesday night, Simon Cowell failed to see the funny side as he sported a hilarious red nose at the event.
The X Factor mogul remained stony-faced as he was snapped with the comedic accessory, while Sinitta, his date for evening, posed happily in hers.
Not seeing the funny side: Simon Cowell failed to crack a smile as he sported a red nose at the gala performance of Book of Mormon in London on Wednesday night
What a drag: Simon puffed away on a cigarette before entering the theatre for the show
Later in the evening, Simon was snapped once again wearing the nose, but managed a small half-smile at that point.
The 53-year-old star looked dapper in a grey suit and white shirt, unbuttoned to his lower chest, for the occasion.
Meanwhile, Sinitta, who previously dated Cowell and has remained close friends with the mogul, looked chic in a blue striped bodycon dress.
That's better: Snapped later wearing the nose again, Cowell managed a half-smile
The 44-year-old teamed her dress with a black jacket and heels as the pair headed home from the Prince Of Wales Theatre following the show.
Cowell has already taken part in a hilarious skit as part of this year's Comic Relief, which will be shown on Friday night.
Images from the sketch show poke fun at Cowell's notorious bachelor lifestyle by seeing the mogul 'wed'.
Heading home: Simon strides to his car with Sinitta following not far behind, trying to catch him up
Still close: The pair, who uses to be a couple, hop into the back of Simon's car together and whizz off
But instead of a gorgeous bride, Cowell is seen marrying his fellow Britain's Got Talent judge David Wlliams, who attended the Book Of Mormon event with his pregnant wife Lara Stone on Wednesday night.
Book of Mormon, which is directed by Casey Nicholaw, enjoyed a hugely successful run in the States.
And already around £7.8million worth of tickets have been sold ahead of the opening at the Prince Of Wales Theatre in the West End.
It’s a show written by South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone with Robert Lopez about two missionaries who are sent out to spread the word of Mormonism in Uganda.
Sense of humour: Cowell will be seen 'marrying' David Walliams in a Comic Relief sketch on Friday night
Bridal party: Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon wear peach dresses to act as bridesmaids for the ceremony
