The annual Campari Calendar is one of the most prestigious gigs going and the face of 2013 isn't going to be unlucky for some, or anyone... because it's gorgeous Penelope Cruz.

But her impish beauty is only the half of it, because 38-year-old is also about to spellbind you with her beguiling curves in a serious of red, red and more red outfits.

She's following in the footsteps of Milla Jovovich, Jessica Alba, Eva Mendes and Olga Kurylenko.

As the 14th star to grace the Campari calendar, Spaniard Penelope ups the ante in the signature red of the dark red bitter Italian aperitif.

In the various shots, the actress’ hair is worked into various styles including tumbling curls, tight 40s style curls and 60s style beehives.

Paris-based photographer, Kristian Schuller captured the photographs in a stunningly bedecked mansion house.

Cruz enjoys a blissfully happy life with her fellow country man (and Academy Award winner) Bardem and their little boy.

The actress recently spoke out about her new found family happiness, claiming that becoming a mother to one-year-old son Leo has changed her view on life.

'It's everything you've heard about, but it's so many other things as well,' she said during an interview with the Brisbane Times.

'From the moment you have a child everything changes, everything. You look at the world in a completely different way through your child's eyes.The way he looks at the sun and the moon and the stars, and the way he is so impressed by nature, he is really making me reconnect with it.

'It's true that you revisit your own childhood. It releases things that you thought you had forgotten.'
