All eyes on her: Carrie Underwood wows in racy tights and tiny hotpants at London country music concert

It was only seven years ago that she was a complete unknown, trying her luck at the American Idol auditions.

But Carrie Underwood looked like she'd been doing it forever as she took to the stage at London O2 Arena on Sunday night, dressed in risqué hotpants and sheer tights.

Performing as part of the Country To Country music festival, alongside fellow US star LeAnn Rimes, the 30-year-old wowed in the provocative outfit as she belted out her best known hits.

The Oklahoma native kept her trademark blonde hair curled in huge ringlets, and dressed from head-to-toe in black, pairing tiny hotpants with a loose-fitting sleeveless top.

But the most attention-grabbing part of her look was the racy sheer tights, which had criss-cross line embellishment all over.

Drawing attention to her curvaceous figure, the Inside Your Heaven singer added a pair of towering black boots, strutting around the stage as she sang.

Carrie, who turned 30 just last week, added some edge to her look with strings of beads around her neck and on her arms, creating a rocky look.

She was joined at the concert by fellow American country singer LeAnn, who looked a little more feminine in a figure-hugging black dress and stiletto heels.

Both stars received standing ovations, with Carrie provoking a huge reaction from the crowd as she closed the show.

'Incredible crowd tonight at @The_O2 arena tonight for the @C2Cofficial festival! All I can say is "Wow!" and "Thank you!" #amazed,' she tweeted as she got off stage.

She slipped into a different outfit after the show, pictured with LeAnn in a skintight silver trousers and a casual black top.

The former talent show contestant, who had been in Belfast a few days before, made the most of her whirlwind pit-stop in London, tweeting that she's visited Big Ben and the London Eye.

She added a picture of her band sipping champagne at the top of the wheel, writing: 'Who are these hot guys?! Oh, it's my fabulous band! :) went to the London Eye tonight! Awesome!'
