Now that's tame! Controversial photographer Terry Richardson gets Selena Gomez to COVER UP for Harper's Bazaar

He's more readily associated with sexy shoots featuring the likes of Kate Upton and Lindsay Lohan.
But for his session with 20-year-old Selena Gomez, 47-year-old Terry Richardson embarked in a radical departure and got the former Disney star to cover up.
It was a slightly narcissistic ploy, however, as Richardson had Selena dress up in his trademark plaid shirt and glasses... and even give his patented thumbs up salute.

Richardson shot Justin Bieber's former squeeze for the April edition of Harper's Bazaar which gives the ingenue two covers, one ethereal and another preppy - but nothing traditionally Richardson.
It's an interesting move, and proves why Richardson has a knack of staying in vogue... because he never does quite what's expected of him.
But he did explore Selena's racier side in the shoot by getting her to unbutton her shirt so her bra was on display.

Gomez showed a different side of her in the upcoming Harmony Korine directed film, Spring Breakers.
Gomez dressed as if she was starring in The Great Gatsby at the film's premiere in Hollywood on Thursday night.
The brunette looked stunning in a 1920s style bright red plunging gown with diaphanous and beaded detail that wouldn't have looked out of place at a prohibition garden party.

Selena's been busy since splitting with Justin, she's had the movie to promote and after breaking into a version of Britney Spears' breakthrough hit, Hit Me Baby One More Time, at Austin... she's got an offer of singing with the star herself.
The star tweeted to her near 25 million followers: ‘Awww @selenagomez can duet with me anytime. PS- I heard @springbreakers is AAA_MAZING! Can't wait to see it!’
