She plays Katniss Everdeen, Girl On Fire in the Hunger Games saga.
And Jennifer Lawrence was smoking hot as she showed up to the Los Angeles premiere of the second instalment, Catching Fire, on Monday.
The 23-year-old showcased her beautiful body in a very dramatic Christian Dior dress for the event, held at the Nokia Theater LA Live.

Jennifer was sporting a black strapless leotard under a floor-sweeping dusty blue gown that was entirely sheer.
The Dior frock was cinched in at the Silver Linings Playbook star’s waist with a clunky black belt and she teamed it with matching platform sandals by Brian Atwood and a Roger Vivier clutch bag.
Jennifer often speaks of how she wants to be a healthy role model for young girls and would never diet to fit a Hollywood ideal.

The star recently lopped off her long locks because they were damaged due to too many dye jobs, and for the premiere had spiked up sections of her blonde pixie cut.
She completed her show-stopping look with smoky eye make-up and bright pink lipstick.

As Jennifer walked the red carpet, fans made the three-finger District 12 sign from the franchise to salute the star, who happily stopped to sign autographs for them.
Jennifer was joined by the two leading men who make up her on-screen love triangle, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson.
Both of the actors were looking suave in classic suits, with Liam, who plays Gale Hawthorne in the film, in a black suit with a grey tie.

Meanwhile Josh, who portrays Peeta Mellark, picked a navy three-piece suit by Dolce&Gabbana, printed purple tie and like Liam, was sporting dress shoes.
The cast have just returned from Europe where they attended premieres for the movie in London, Berlin, Madrid, Rome and Paris.
But Jennifer saved her most sensational look to walk the red carpet in Hollywood for the movie.
Elizabeth Banks was also turning heads as she arrived at the event in a dress that clung to her every curve.

The 39-year-old picked a tangerine Versace frock with gold glitter detailing and matching shoes, as well as a brown box clutch.
Perhaps the women starring in the film had convened beforehand and planned to wear eye-popping ensembles, as Jena Malone set pulses racing too.
The actress went for a shock frock in the form of a sheer dress with strategically placed sequinned panels just about protecting her modesty.

Diana Ross' son Evan is getting his big break in the movie, and had his supportive girlfriend Ashlee Simpson by his side.
The former singer and sister of Jessica Simpson wore a black bustier Amanda Wakeley dress with fringed fishtail skirt, and had her bottle blonde hair styled in wild curls.

There were also plenty of stars milling about who do not appear in the hotly anticipated movie but showed up to watch it anyway.
Kylie Jenner may be just 16 but she went for a more mature look in a grey dress, black lace-up boots and deep red lipstick.

Meanwhile Sarah Hyland of Modern Family fame could have just stepped out of the Capitol in her gold pleated frock, and Bella Thorne looked ethereal in a nude dress with white floral motifs.
Willow and Jaden Smith put on quite the show on the red carpet as they pulled poses that Jaden perhaps learned while filming The Karate Kid.
Peter Facinelli and Joe Jonas were among the other celebrities at the premiere, with Peter bringing daughters Luca Bella and Lola Ray along and Joe joined by girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is already drawing in rave reviews from critics, and is scheduled to hit cinemas in the UK on November 21 and the US on November 22.
