And now Joan Smalls, 28, proved that her hard work on the runway paid off as she enjoyed a relaxing breakaway to the Maldives in a number of bikini-clad Instagrams on Thursday.
The Puerto Rican supermodel commanded attention in her crushed velvet lilac-coloured bikini top that barely-covered her cleavage.

Posing in the midst of the crystal clear Indian Ocean, the catwalk queen sizzled in the candid snap that displayed her lean model figure to perfection.
Continuing her vibrant display, she teamed her eye-catching lilac-hued top with a pair of skimpy fuchsia pink bikini bottoms that she wore high on her hips to further elongate her lengthy limbs.
Joan matched her colourful look with a pair of statement fringe hooped earring while she kept her raven-locks in pair with her chic bandana.

Her sun-soaked appearance comes after she made a splash at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris, having walked in the electrifying Miu Miu fashion show on Sunday night alongside Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Jourdan Dunn.
Joan since 2011 has been a global beauty ambassador for Estee Lauder and was the first Latina signed by the brand to a worldwide campaign.
