Swimsuit-clad Kelly Rohrbach flaunts cleavage on Cosmo cover... and says 'humor is the sexiest thing'

Kelly Rohrbach stripped down for an upcoming stark spread shot by photographer James Macari and styled by Aya Kanai.

The 27-year-old IMG Model covered the June edition of Cosmopolitan - hitting newsstands Tuesday - in which she discussed her scantily-clad part in Paramount Pictures' big-screen remake of Baywatch.

'I wasn't interested in playing the hot-girl role,' the Georgetown University grad - who plays lifeguard C.J. Parker - told the mag.

'I didn't want her to be an object but rather a dynamic, real person.'

Kelly, the SI Swimsuit Rookie of 2015, was relieved to discover the iconic red one-piece famously worn by Pamela Anderson received a neoprene upgrade.

'It's scuba material, which is awesome because it's literally like wearing Spanx that suck you right in,' Rohrbach marveled.

'I was like, cheeseburgers, no problem. Just zip that thing up and it's like it never happened.'

The golf and Burning Man enthusiast was more into her unlikely love interest in the nostalgic reboot (disco-dancing 'everyman' Ronnie Greenbaum) than her character.

'Originally, my romantic interest, played by Jon Bass, is a Jonah Hill type. It was written that he had a big crush on [C.J.] and she's kind of a b***h to him,' she explained.

'I kept thinking, "I would love this guy. I would hook up with him. He's the funniest character, and to me, humor is the sexiest thing."'

However, Kelly's down-to-earth statement stands in stark contrast to her real-life leading men - Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio.

The Connecticut-born blonde - who boasts 512K social media followers - credits her humble attitude to being teased by her siblings when she was growing up.

'I was 5ft9in when I was 12,' Rohrbach deadpanned.

'My siblings would tease me and call me big friendly or freaky giant, and later, when I was approached about modeling, they would joke, "The BFG is gonna be a model? That clunky thing?" They know how to keep me in check alright.'

She's bringing back Baywatch for the big screen in 2017 - and Kelly Rohrbach was certainly giving predecessor Pamela Anderson a run for her money with her latest swimwear shoot.

Shunning the famous flame red in favour of black, the 26-year-old put on a busty display in a sheer one piece, sizzling on the sands for the British GQ summer issue.

Leonardo DiCaprio's ex is the rising star due to play C.J. Parker in the beach patrol remake, though she tells the magazine, she can no longer have 'Doritos or wedgies' without the whole world knowing about it.

Kelly serves as the sizzling coverstar for the August 2016 issue, pictured going braless behind the wheel in a white crop top and string bottoms.

The summer shoot also sees the blonde bombshell posing in a sporty gold lame two piece, presenting her derriere to the camera as she proves exactly why those neoprene swimsuits caused her so many costume issues on set.

She explained 'My suit was that neoprene scuba gear material so it really rides up. They would use glue and tape it to my bum so it wouldn't make a wedgie wrinkly.

'Everyday the photographers would shoot the costume designers doing the glue and there would be a picture of somebody with a brush, putting Elmer’s glue on my bum. I’m like, Guys I don’t think this is gonna get a lot of clicks. I am not famous.'

In fact, so much is the interest in Kelly that the actress-cum-model can no longer steal a snack break, undisturbed.

Of her time on set, she added: 'I was like: "God, I just wanna eat a bag of Doritos but there's paparazzi everywhere, f*** it! It stunk because there was no privacy."

Kelly took matters into her own hands when it came to finding fame, explaining to GQ that she was the one phoning Hollywood agents.

'I googled Top Ten Talent Agencies. I just picked one, went there and got signed. I was like, "Hey, I'd like an agent, would you like to be my agent?" And they were like, "That's not really how this works…but uh, sure."

Despite previous roles in Café Society and TV show Two and a Half Men - as well as a fleeting affair with Oscar-winner DiCaprio - Kelly's big break will come next summer, in Baywatch.

She will replace beloved beach babe Pammy as C.J. alongside the new stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Priyanka Chopra.

On her character, Kelly said: 'I love unlikeable characters. I find them fascinating. The world is uncomfortable with a really-ugly-on-the-inside woman. So uncomfortable. I think that's funny.'
