She might not have had the best Christmas thanks to the tragic death of her grandmother, but Irina Shayk appears to be overcoming adversity in style.

Photos from her latest campaign, for American swimwear brand Beach Bunny, show the 28-year-old at her glamorous best, posing on a tropical beach in a succession of teeny bikinis.

The campaign is the latest in a series of career coups for the Russian model, who last year, appeared in editorial features in a host of prestigious magazines as well as on the cover of Spanish Vogue.

The model is also due to make her film debut later this year when she appears in Hercules: The Thracian Wars as Megara, the vengeful wife of the eponymous hero, played by The Rock.

But, as these photos prove, she won't be giving up her modelling career in the near future - and even managed to make some of the more dubious designs look good.

Particularly outré was an antique gold number, which could have come direct from the costume department of Hercules: The Thracian Wars, and came complete with bling straps encrusted with turquoise stones.

In better taste was a cobalt Grecian number that boasted a smattering of pretty beading and a relatively restrained black and silver option.

The designer behind the brand is Californian Angela Chittenden, a former swimwear model herself, who says the idea for her own label arose after she was unable to find beachwear to suit.

'Either they were too conservative with too much coverage, or they weren’t very classy,' she complains in an interview on the Beach Bunny website.

'There was nothing out there that was sexy and elegant. So I decided to design my own.'

Having concluded that 'sexy cuts' with copious embellishment were the future of swimwear, she launched her label in 2004.

'Some people said I was crazy, that my designs were too risky, too out-there to catch on,' she adds. 'I guess they were wrong.'

She is not only a supermodel with a body to die for but Irina Shayk has also designed her first collection for Californian swimwear brand Beach Bunny.

The 27-year-old Russian beauty expertly modelled the collection herself in front of an idyllic beach backdrop.

The collection, which will be released this autumn features a kaleidoscope of colours including metallic gold bikinis and a bright red one-piece swimsuit.

The star, who has modelled for Sports Illustrated, Victoria’s Secret and Intimissimi, looked perfectly at ease in the tropical setting as she waded through an aquamarine-coloured sea.

She wore her long dark locks in a tousled beach-hair style with a subtle sun-kissed makeup look.

She posed in a variety of strong and seductive poses, wearing skimpy swimwear which was complemented by colourful beaded jewellery.

Irina also posed with some starfish and wore some striking laced gladiator-style sandal boots.

The model will also be wearing similar footwear in her upcoming film role, starring as Hercules’ wife in the film Hercules: The Thracian Wars as the wife of Hercules, played by Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

She said of her acting debut: 'I haven’t started filming yet but I’m so excited to be a part of Hercules. My role is small but the team is amazing and Brett Ratner is one of my favorite directors so I can’t wait to begin.'

Johnson seemed delighted about working with Irina too and posted a message on his Facebook page about her casting.

He wrote: ‘Excited to work w/ Irina Shayk who’s making her big screen debut as the wife of Hercules. Cool and hard working girl. Makes a mean Baklava for Hercules too.’

The film also stars Ian McShane, Reece Ritchie, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt and is set be be released in July 2014.

She's no stranger to wowing her fans with her incredible body in skimpy swimwear.

But Irina Shayk has reached a whole new level with the new campaign for Beach Bunny, sizzling in a variety of tiny two-piece.

The 27-year-old Russian model looks incredible in the pictures, entitled Take Me To Rio, showing off her enviable curves in the process.

But while the shots are likely to thrill her legions of male fans, they will have to suffer in the knowledge that she is spoken for by Portuguese football ace Cristiano Ronaldo, 28.

In a collection of sensational photographs the model poses down on the beach to showcase the latest collection of designs from the swimwear brand.

The occasional sarong and thin summer shawl provides a little bit more cover for the former Sports Illustrated star.

As she frolics on the beach with her long thick hair gently catching in the wind, the model looks like she could audition to be a bond girl - or for a Baywatch reboot - as the cameras capture her in a variety of poses.

With minimal accessorizing in the form of thin-chained necklaces and a few statement bangles, the pieces of beach-ware are allowed to take what little limelight is left after attention falls from Irina's incredible body to the pieces in question.

The collection has been given the stamp of approval from the model herself who tweeted her appreciation earlier on Wednesday.

She added a link to a video from the campaign shoot which shows the pieces - and Irina - in action.

It is not the first time the Russian has showcased her figure as part of a campaign.

Back in 2007 she became the face of Italian lingerie line Intimissimi and modelled a range of bras, briefs, and other pieces of négligée, carrying on being the image for the brand for the next consecutive three years

From 2010 she became an official ambassador for the brand, and she has been associated with Beach Bunny since 2009.

It was also back in 2007 that she made her first appearance in the legendary Sports Illustrated publication, going on to feature inside it five times and on the cover once, in 2011.

She has also appeared on covers of magazines in Spain including ELLE, Harper's Bazaar, and GQ - as well as covering British Esquire in 2012.

But it's not all standing around in front of the cameras for the brown haired, green eyed beauty - she is also something of a philanthropist.

She has invested some of her earnings charitably in her hometown of Yemanzhelinsk where - along with her sisters - she helped rebuild the children's ward of a local hospital and now also helps raise money for sick children in Russia.

She's one of the most stunning models of current times so it's no wonder Beach Bunny swimwear enlisted Irina Shayk for their latest bikini shoot.

And the Russian model certainly puts everyone else in the shade in the latest shoot as she soaks up the sun herself in an array of minuscule two-pieces.

The 27-year-old model positively glows in the images as she happily shows off exactly how she made her name.

The brunette beauty looks ravishing in one particular bikini as she stands with wet hair in a strapless hit pink and navy blue number.

Irina smoulders with smokey eyes as her taut stomach and and slender frame is sown off t the max.

In another image but in a similar two-piece, this time with a string triangular top, she flings her hair back to emphasise her body even more.

The catwalk star, who is dating footballer Cristiano Ronaldo, even shows off her pert derriere in a couple of the other shots from the collection.

She wears one zebra print number as she poses with her back to the camera to sow exactly how one should look in a bikini.

In other images she puts on a pink and light blue polka dot two piece, again with wet look hair and polka dot eyes.

The pictures promote the Beach Bunny 2013 swimsuit collection as she gears fans up for the warmer and holiday months.

But Irina Shayk positively sizzled as she posed up a storm in a stunning new campaign for Beach Bunny Swimwear.

Showing off her envy-inducing curves in a number of tiny bikinis, the 27-year-old model looked hotter than ever as she smouldered into the camera.

Flaunting her killer tan, washboard abs and perfectly toned limbs, the Russian bombshell arranged herself into a series of sexy poses as she revealed her body from every angle.

Proving her boyfriend Cristiano Ronaldo is a very lucky man indeed, the brunette beauty certainly did the skimpy swimwear justice as she bagged the starring role in the advertising campaign.

Letting her bronzed body and perfect figure do the talking, Irina kept the rest of her look simple with her dark locks slicked bag and tumbling in loose waves down her back.

Meanwhile, Beach Bunny Swimwear seemed equally thrilled to have landed the stunning model for the shoot.

Writing on their official Facebook page, the company wrote: 'She's Back! We are very excited to announce Sports Illustrated Swimsuit beauty & supermodel Irina Shayk as the face of Beach Bunny 2013!'

They added on Twitter: 'Irina + Sequins + Lady Lace = LOVE.'

Beach Bunny Swimwear are no strangers to having celebrities front their advertising campaigns, with curvaceous blonde Kate Upton having taken the helm on a number of occasions.

And the American model even designed her own swimwear line for the California-based beach designer, admitting getting behind the scenes was a 'dream come true'.

She said of the collection: 'I love all the embellishments and especially the lingerie details because they make you feel so sexy.'
