Her youthful looks are undoubtedly the source of envy for many women. 

And putting on an age defying appearance at a bash to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Harper's Bazaar on Wednesday, Iman looked simply sensational in a stunning khaki green jumpsuit. 

The model, 61, flaunted her enviable curves in her form-fitting ensemble and couldn't have looked more glamorous as she struck up a pose on arrival to the event presented by Tiffany & Co.

Iman dazzled as she worked the cameras, with her stylish attire highlighting her curvaceous figure - that women merely half her age would dream of having. 

Her jumpsuit featured a low-cut neckline and metallic waist belt, along with a dramatic train that boasted silk lining and floated out from her behind as she walked. 

She appeared in high spirits at the star-studded party held at The Rainbow Room in New York and made sure to flash a smile as she made her way inside the venue. 

Iman - full name Iman Mohamed Abdulmajid - added a pair of striking jewelled earrings to her getup and kept things chic on the beauty front.

Her lightened tresses fell to her shoulders in a sleek and straight style, with the cosmetics entrepreneur sweeping her locks over into a side parting. 

For her make-up, she boasted long lashes and kohl eye-liner, along with a glossy nude lipstick on her lips. 

Inside the bash, she rubbed shoulders with the likes of actress Demi Moore, model Doutzen Kroes and Kris and Kendall Jenner.

Her appearance in the Big Apple comes a month after Iman shared a rare photo of her 16-year-old daughter Alexandria 'Lexi' Zahra Jones - whom she shares with the late David Bowie.

In the cute shot, the pretty teen can be seen smiling with her eyes closed as she tilts her head in the sunshine to pose for the camera. 

Iman captioned the sweet snap: 'My Sunday boo! #LexiLove.'

She is also mother to daughter Zulekha, 38, with ex-husband Spencer Haywood, whilst David had son Duncan, 45, with ex-wife Angie.

David had died from liver cancer on January 10, 2016, two days after the release of his final album, Blackstar.

David Bowie's wife Iman Abdulmajid posted a moving message on social media on the day of her husband's death.

The 60-year-old supermodel shared an image on Twitter saying, 'The struggle is real, but so is God,' along with the caption 'Rise'. 

Bowie, whose ground-breaking music inspired generations during a career spanning six decades, died on Sunday at the age of 69 after being diagnosed with cancer. 

The Somali-born model was married to Bowie for nearly 24 years, and the couple had one daughter, 15-year-old Alexandria Zahra, known as Lexi.

Before his marriage to Iman, Bowie was married to Angie Barnett from 1970 to 1980, with their son Duncan, originally known as Zowie Bowie, born in 1971.

Duncan Jones is now a successful film director whose works include 2009's Moon and Source Code, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, from 2011.

Iman has not spoken directly about his death but posted a series of cryptic tweets at the weekend. 

'I still fancy him after all these years': the Somalian model has yet to release a statement about her husband's death, but she has tweeted messages to her followers 

One of the tweets posted by Iman included the message: 'Sometimes you will never know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.'

Another said:  'The struggle is real, but so is God,' along with the caption 'Rise'.

Bowie married the supermodel in a romantic ceremony in Tuscany on 24 April, 1992.

In 2013 Iman, 60, was interviewed by Naomi Campbell for Interview magazine and told her: 'We are very private so we decided from early on that we will keep the press and editors and everybody out of our house.'

In an interview with Harper's Bazaar magazine in 2010, the supermodel said and her husband would never fight, and said she 'still fancied him after all these years'.

She said: 'David doesn't fight. 

'He is English, so he just stays quiet. I'm the screamer. 

'Then he always makes me laugh. It's like cabaret. 

'I keep him entertained too. I still fancy him—totally!—after all these years.'

She said she loved all of her husband's songs, but her particular favourites were 'Heroes' and 'Suffragette City' - which she and her daughter would dance to.

The model's Instagram page is filled with images of her husband, with several posted over the last few days, showing photographs of Bowie and the couple together. 

In a 2014 interview, Iman told The Guardian: 'I fell in love with David Jones. 

'I did not fall in love with David Bowie. Bowie is just a persona. He's a singer, an entertainer. 

'David Jones is a man I met.'

She also said her husband was something of a 'homebody' who liked his own company.

She added: 'David is even more of a homebody than I am. At least I go to parties once in a while.

'I also think there is nothing that he hasn't seen. He's been to all the parties that there are.'

In the 2013 Interview article, Iman said the key to a happy marriage was 'to respect one another'.

She told Naomi Campbell: 'First I think you’ve got to feel hot for each other and respect each other. 

'That’s where it starts. Also, we are very private so we decided from early on that we will keep the press and editors and everybody out of our house. 

'So we totally understand the difference between the public and the private. And we have fun with each other. 

'He’s very English in a way that he’s a gentleman.'

Legendary singer David Bowie has died at the age of 69 after battling cancer in secret for 18 months.

The star, who released a new album last week, was known as the creator of glam rock and was one of the most successful artists of the 20th century.

A spokesman for Bowie said this morning: 'David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18-month battle with cancer.

His latest album Blackstar was released just last Friday, the singer's 69th birthday, although Bowie had rarely performed or been seen in public in recent months.

It has now emerged that he was gravely ill during the recording and release of the album, as well as the making of its two music videos.

Bowie's son Duncan Jones, also known as Zowie Bowie, confirmed the news, writing on Twitter: 'Very sorry and sad to say it's true. I'll be offline for a while. Love to all.'

Other stars paid tribute to the British singer - Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon tweeted: 'So sad to hear of David Bowie dying x'.

Mayor of London Boris Johnson described Bowie as a 'genius', saying: 'Terrible news to hear Brixton-born David Bowie has died. No one in our age has better deserved to be called a genius.'

Nicola Sturgeon, the First Minister of Scotland, added: 'What dreadful news about David Bowie. A hero for so much more than just one day.'

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby told the BBC Radio 4 Today programme he became a Bowie fan during the singer's early rise to prominence.

'I'm very, very saddened to hear of his death,' he said. 'I remember sitting listening to his songs endlessly in the '70s particularly and always really relishing what he was, what he did, the impact he had. Extraordinary person.'

Thousands of fans expressed their grief at the star's unexpected death, sharing his song lyrics online and reminiscing about memories of him - one enthusiast wrote: 'Didn't occur to me that David Bowie could die.'

Despite his relatively low profile over the past few years, Bowie gave no hint that he was gravely ill before the announcement of his death today.

His final music video, Lazarus, featured haunting footage of the singer confined to a hospital bed with his eyes covered by a bandage,with lyrics beginning: 'Look up here, I'm in heaven, I've got scars that can't be seen.'

Bowie, who was born David Jones in Brixton, South London and brought up in the suburb of Bromley, began his career as a novelty musician before finding fame in 1969 with the hit Space Oddity.

During the 1970s, Bowie was regarded as one of the most radical and ground-breaking musicians in the world, ushering in the glam rock era with his Ziggy Stardust persona.

He continued to mix experimental concepts with traditional pop songs in albums such as Heroes, Low and Diamond Dogs, as well as acting in films such as The Man Who Fell to Earth and The Last Temptation of Christ.

In recent years Bowie's career revived once again despite his keeping a relatively low public profile - three years ago The Next Day was a best-seller, while new album Blackstar - tipped to go straight to number one this week - has received positive reviews. 

At the height of his fame in 1970 he declared that he was bisexual, instantly propelling him to the status of gay icon.

Bowie was married twice - he wed first wife Angie in 1970, and the couple's son Duncan was born the next year before they divorced in 1980. He later married supermodel Iman, having a daughter named Alexandria who is now 15.
