The Green Carpet Challenge is a dynamic project founded by Livia Firth and British journalist Lucy Siegle which pairs glamour and ethics to raise the profile of sustainable style at the world’s most high profile red carpet events.
Freida was a model in India for two years, and hosted a travel show before getting her big break in 2008 when director Danny Boyle picked her from auditions to play opposite Dev Patel in the hit movie Slumdog Millionaire.
Speaking of her career, Freida said:  'This industry is for fighters and those who do not give up! It is very important to believe in yourself. Even when a hundred people rejected me, I did not lose hope
and, finally, one of the biggest directors of all times believed in me!

Classic: The simple gown not only looked stunning, it was for a good cause
Slumdog was nominated for four Golden Globes and Frieda was nominated for 'Best Actress in a Supporting Role' at the 2009 BAFTA Awards.
Dev and Freida fell for each other after making the movie, and now live together in Los Angeles.
Freida was was previously engaged to Rohan Antao from 2007 until January 2009. They had been in a relationship since 2003.
The actress, nicknamed Fro, has been busy this year promoting her movie Trishna, a British drama directed by Michael Winterbottom.  She has also worked with Woody Allen, and starred in last year's blockbuster Planet of the Apes.

In 2009 Pinto was featured in People magazine's Most Beautiful People List, and "List of World's Best Dressed Women".
Freida looked faultless at an earlier photoshoot, where she wore a more casual loose fitting patterned dress, gathered at the waist with a wide leather belt.
She was included in Vogue's 2009 list of the top ten most stylish women, and this year People magazine named her one of 2012 Most Beautiful at Every Age.
Let's hope she returns to form for awards season in LA, we want our stylish Freida back!
