Transformers star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has returned to her modelling roots for the new issue of Germany's GQ magazine. 

The 25-year-old, who is dating action man Jason Statham, put her pert knock-out body in just a pair off white briefs with the number 10 emblazoned across the bottom.

Her famous bee-stung pout is painted red and her long caramel locks are perfectly tousled.

While she'll no doubt win a few extra fans with this August cover, she found herself rather unpopular among some in the showbiz set after dropping out of hosting Project Runway All Stars earlier this month.

The British model had reportedly spent weeks negotiating to replace Angela Lindvall on the show, only to pull out at the last minute when she was given a role in Mad Max: Fury Road and had to head to Namibia to shoot the film.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: 'Literally days before filming, the show suddenly had no host. Rosie had been pushing really hard for the job. She'd charmed everyone. 

'But then with less than three weeks to go, Rosie pulled out to do Mad Max, creating a huge drama. It put the production in a terrible position, and the Weinstein Company even threatened to sue Rosie.'

Despite the claims, sources close to Rosie insist she never signed a contract for the show.

The insider said: 'She was never fully committed to the project and there was no signed contract.'
Following her sudden departure, models including Karolina Kurkova, Hilary Rhoda and Elaine Irwin auditioned for the host's role, which eventually went to Estee Lauder beauty Carolyn Murphy.

Guest stars on the show - which started filming last month - include Kylie Minogue, Stacy Keibler and Katie Holmes, with the latter arriving on set last week, days after filing for divorce from Tom Cruise after five years of marriage.

The source said: 'Everyone expected Katie to cancel, but she didn't. She's friendly and professional but didn't say a word about her divorce.'

The Russian model has posed for one of her most sultry photo shoots yet to grace the cover and inside pages of Germany's GQ magazine.

In one picture Cristiano Ronaldo's girlfriend is seen wearing nothing but a small pair of black briefs with heels and a gaping open red jacket.

She suggestively hitches her long right leg up while she smoulders at the camera with her wet-look hair and cleavage on show.

Shayk can be seen in the same outfit on the cover of the July Issue of German GQ.

Irina took to a roof top pool in New York to pose for the impressive pictures for the exclusive shoot.

In another image she strips to just a bikini and climbs up the pool steps as she flicks her dark locks back.

And in one of the most revealing pictures, Irina struts along in a floorlength black dress which is split all the way up to reveal her right bottom cheek, while her left breast is also suggestively revealed.

Irina wears a chunky gold bracelet to complete the look and match her gold shoes.

She also showed her credentials in a lingerie and swimwear shoot for the magazine which emphasised her long legs and svelte frame.

In a special behind the scenes video, Irina can be seen doing what she does best as she professionally poses for the camera man for the GQ shoot.

The catwalk star has posted the clip on her Twitter page, alongside the words: 'Check out some behind the scenes video from my GQ Magazine Germany shoot, shot by Yu Tsai xx.'

Close ups of the dark haired beauty can be seen as she has her pictures taken, while she is seen expertly stepping into the water for the pool shots.
