Vanessa Hudgens attempted to hide her fractured finger behind her back while posing at the Industry Dance Awards in Hollywood Wednesday.

The 26-year-old ingénue - rocking waist-length hair extensions - showcased her cleavage in the plunging, backless mustard gown.

The half-Filipina stunner's flirty frock featured a leather body harness and choker as well as a gold statement necklace.

Vanessa was dutifully joined by her live-in love of four years Austin Butler, who celebrated his 24th birthday at Disneyland on Monday.

A slave to fashion, the 5ft1in beauty even managed to match her hand cast with her dramatic dress.

It was the third colour Hudgens has sported on her injury since August 11, after blue and purple cast coverings.

The Gimme Shelter actress broke her right ring finger August 5 after visiting London hotspot Chiltern Firehouse.

Earlier on Wednesday, Vanessa was spotted shopping at Walgreens while wearing thigh-high suede boots.

Hudgens will be honoured for her Broadway debut in the 1958 Lerner & Loewe's musical Gigi.

The Machete Kills starlet played the high-society courtesan at the Neil Simon Theatre until the show closed June 21 after 86 performances.

Vanessa will next star in the long-delayed zom-com Kitchen Sink - hitting US theaters September 4 and UK theaters November 6 - with Bob Odenkirk, Joan Cusack, Ed Westwick, and Patton Oswalt.

As her final performance in Gigi on Broadway approaches, Vanessa Hudgens has allowed herself some free time to bond with her close friends.

The 26-year-old was spotted enjoying a spot of relaxation with pals in New York's West Village on Friday.

She took to Instagram to share snaps of her girls' day, even recreating a scene from popular HBO series Girls, which she tagged: 'girl band.'

'We heart the West Village!' Vanessa Hudgens hit the town with her 'girl band' on Friday ahead of a Gigi on Broadway performance

Vanessa, who will tread the boards in the show for the final time on Sunday, wore a fitted, halterneck dress which featured a blue sweetheart neckline and then fell to a flowing skirt that hit mid-thigh.

The summery sun dress was decorated in a soft blue and green pattern, and featured two large pocks on the front, decorated in blue, and embellished with large blue buttons.

The High School Musical star coupled the bright look with a pair of coordinating ankle tie blue wedges. 

Inspiration: The 26-year-old seemed inspired by the women of HBO hit series Girls, as she shared an Instagram photo on a West Village stoop

Vanessa wore her raven tresses slicked back for the outing, and hid her eyes behind a pair of black wayfarer-style sunglasses.

She accessorized with a statement necklace, and was spotted carrying a stylish, white leather handbag. 

In her Instagram photo she was seen blowing a kiss as she sat on a lower step on a West Village front stoop, alongside three of her close girlfriends.

Blue belle: Vanessa looked gorgeous in a halterneck blue and white sundress for the outing, which showed off her toned pins

On trend: She accessorized the look with a pair of strappy blue wedges and a chic, white leather purse

The other girls struck similarly stylish poses, ranging from a peace sign to a disinterested, far-off stare.

Vanessa emphatically captioned the chic photo: 'We [emoji heart] the west village,' also sharing a snap of the girls from behind as they walked away, captioning it: 'The tribe.'

Recently it was revealed that Vanessa's Broadway show, Gigi - a reboot of the 1951 musical starring Audrey Hepburn - would be ending its run early, likely due to disappointing box office numbers and poor reviews.

And on Friday Vanessa took to Instagram to also post snaps of her close friends Kayslee Collins and Laura Jayne supporting her on Thursday at one of her final shows.

She wrote: 'It's so nice when you're best friend comes to see you in @gigionbroadway,' alongside a photo of Laura kissing Vanessa on the cheek as the pair spent time in what appeared to be the actress's glamorous dressing room.

Vanessa joked: 'She's mineeee,' in another snap of the pair, before sharing a picture cozying up to Kayslee, captioned: 'And my other lover... We go way back.'

In the pictures, Vanessa sported a retro curled 'do and a dark red lip as she posed in a black jumpsuit, accessorized with a fringed brown jacket and a tan Chloe crossbody bag. 

The actress only has four shows left at the Neil Simon Theatre, in a role which she said was a dream come true.  

Set during the turn of the 20th century, Gigi tells the story of a free-spirited teenage girl living in Paris who is groomed (in the custom of her family) to serve as a companion to a bored, wealthy playboy until the pair realize they have fallen in love. 

Vanessa's last show for Gigi on Broadway takes place at 3pm at the Neil Simon Theatre on Sunday, June 21.

Her starring role in the Broadway musical Gigi is coming to an end on June 21 due to lackluster ticket sales.

Vanessa Hudgens found a way to beat the sultry New York City weather AND the blues over the closing production on Thursday.

The 26-year-old had that star appeal once again as she stepped out in a leopard print swimsuit matched with a sexy pair of denim cut-offs.

Vanessa wore her dark hair pulled back into a tight bun with little hope for escaping tendrils, and shaded her eyes with chic large-framed sunglasses.

Daring neckline and leggy views aside, Vanessa also boasted a neat tan while padding along in her white trainers.

She stayed true to her Bohemian style by lugging a large black leather fringed tote.

Vanessa clutched her iPhone in her hand, perhaps scanning for messages and other offers.

On Monday it was learned the Broadway show Gigi will be seeing an early close on June 21 due to poor ticket sales.

Earlier in the day, Vanessa was seen looking downcast as she emerged from her New York City apartment.

The beauty wore a blue romper that appeared somewhat wrinkled.

The blues: Earlier in the day, Vanessa appeared to be melancholy as she left her apartment on Thursday afternoon ahead of a performance of her show Gigi

The former High School Musical star showed off her impressively taut figure as she went bra-less underneath the strappy one-piece. 

She let her bare legs do the talking as she flashed the flesh in the skimpy thigh-skimming outfit, which she teamed with a simple pair of white sliders.

The stylish former child actress slicked her brunette locks into a low bun and covered her eyes in dark shades as she headed off dwarfed by a large black fringed Kenneth Cole shoulder bag.

Life must go on for the star whose role in the Gigi revival suffered poor reviews and a disappointing performance at the box office.

The show - set in Paris at the turn of the last century - will take its final bow on June 21 after about 100 performances.

The original version of the show gave a young Audrey Hepburn her big break in 1951.

The Spring Breakers actress took the titular role in the updated version, which centres on a teenage girl being groomed to serve as a mistress to a gentleman. When she falls in love it complicates matters.

The show only earned one Tony nomination, which was for Victoria Clark. Last week, the Neil Simon Theatre, where the show plays, was reportedly barely half-full. The show has earned only 30 percent of its $1.3 million potential, but could do much better now that it is known it has only a limited time left.

On Sunday, Hudgens and the cast performed The Night They Invented Champagne at the Tony Awards.

Back to work: The 26-year-old was headed to her show as she wore white sneakers that she had only slipped into half way; she had a driver help her in the car 

Later this year, Hudgens will star in a horror comedy called Kitchen Sink.

The zombie and vampire flick will also star Bob Odenkirk, Denis Leary and Patton Oswalt, among others.

Also in the works for the actress is Grease: Live TV, a special in which she'll star alongside Julianne Hough, Nick Jonas and Martin Short.

Also on Thursday the star shared a short clip where she was twirling to the classic hit song Girl From Ipanema.

Hudgens looked alluring as she glanced at the camera.
