Life's a beach! Nina Dobrev enjoys a bikini getaway with her friends in Maui
She was living it up in Hawaii just a few short weeks ago.
And this week Nina Dobrev was back for more, putting her thriving career temporarily on hold to jet over to Maui with her gal pals in tow.
The 27-year-old and her fellow travel companions Jessica Szohr, 30, and model Jessica Stam, 29, were certain to incite envy as they splashed around in the water on Friday.

Donning a pretty red and green print bikini and a purple lei, Nina looked to be having the time of her life as she rushed into the waves beside Jessica.
The ladies grinned brightly as they embraced tightly in the water.
Nina was clearly pumped up for the time being, playfully shooting her arms into the air after taking a refreshing dip.
The actress appeared taken by surprise as her group of gal pals surrounded her in the deeper depths of the water.

Not far by frolicked Stam, who turned heads in a bright red bikini that put her model physique on full display.
After her dip, Nina treated herself to a refreshing cool drink.
The actress looked relaxed as she padded barefoot, holding her beverage and catching up with her friends.

Aside from their beach day, the ladies have been documenting their trip with enthusiasm on social media.
In a snap shared by Szohr, Nina flashed her fantastic figure as she stood in a pool, shading her eyes and sporting a pair of tortoise sunglasses.
'Jesssss I can't see you. Oh it's the other Jess!,' the image was captioned, which also captured Szohr as she sunbathed in a backless bathing Volcom suit and a floppy straw hat.

The ladies touched down into Maui only two days ago, with Nina immediately taking a snap of themselves at the airport as they rejoiced in their arrival.
'#AlohaLadies,' the snap was captioned, along with a flower emoticon.
Of course it didn't take long for them to begin taking full advantage of the tropical locale's fantastic weather.

Nina did not appear to be joined by her boyfriend Austin Stowell for the trip.

The actress starred for six seasons on The Vampire Dramas before leaving the show to focus on a big screen career.
She recently wrapped filming for the rom-com Crash Pad in Vancouver with Christina Applegate and Domhnall Gleeson.
She's next set to film the drama Arrivals with Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams in 2016.
