Jennifer Morrison from Once Upon a Time and Jaime Murray and Defiance cast at the Monte-Carlo TV Festival

As Emma Swan in Once Upon A Time, Jennifer Morrison is known for her skinny jeans and leather jacket.

But on Monday, the actress went for a more elegant look at the 54th Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

Wearing a nude sheer blouse and camisole tucked into a matching skirt, Jennifer proved to be quite the fairytale beauty in Monaco.

Morrison added a pair of black Mary-Jane peep-toe shoes and a bow-detail clutch bag, while styling her platinum blonde hair with a side-plait.

The actress is a well-known face on the small screen thanks to her breakthrough role as Dr. Allison Cameron in House M.D. and recurring parts in How I Met Your Mother, and of course ABC’s fairy-tale fantasy series she was in Monte-Carlo to promote.

The show will be premiering its fourth season this coming September, as it takes the viewers back to the fictional town of Storybrooke where the real world meets fairy-tale.

Also looking ever so stylish at the festival was British actress Jaime Murray, who looked chic in a pair of high-waisted black trousers with a colourful cami top tucked in.

The British actress wore black and white strappy sandals on her feet and carried a large envelope clutch as she joined her Defiance co-stars Scottish actor Tony Curran, US actress Julie Benz and US actor Grant Bowler at a photo call.

Currently in its second series, Defiance is a sci-fi drama set in the year 2046, on Earth, over thirty years after various alien races arrived on the planet; causing the landscape to completely alter and terraform to beyond recognition.

Defiance is the town formerly known as St. Louis and events begin to unfold that threaten the fragile peace in the community.

Ted Danson, Eric Szmanda and Wallace Langham from CSI: Crime Scene Investigation were also at the festival to promote their long-running TV show in the official programme.

She's starred in shows from Hustle and Ringer to Warehouse 13.

But now Jaime Murray has taken her career in a different direction with new project Defiance, in which she is unrecognisable as alien Stahma Tarr.

However, despite her drastic makeover the part, Jaime still brings her own sexiness to the show - as she proves by stripping for a bathtime scene.

The 35-year-old British actress is seen going virtually naked, with just a few strips of tiny fabric protecting her modesty, as she joined her husband Datak Tarr (Tony Curran) for a bathtime ritual.

Jaime shows off her toned figure and enviable washboard stomach as she derobes, before getting in to the bath alongside her spouse.

Defiance is the eagerly awaited new Syfy series, which is set in the future and tells the story of alien collectively called the Voltans who come to Earth to make a new home.

Jaime's character Stahma is from the Castithan race, meaning she has white hair, very pale, almost grey skin, and lilac eyes.

The actors also had to learn an entirely new, made-up language for the show - which Jaime admits was challenging.

She said: 'We had to learn a whole other language for the show. We learned it phonetically and it is as alien as another language could possibly be.'

Unique: Defiance also marks the first-ever convergence of television and online gaming - with a game also called Defiance having been developed by Trion Worlds

Jaime also revealed she was terrified when it came to her audition for the show, with her apprehension picked up, and also shared, by Tony.

She said: 'I could tell that Tony was very nervous about the audition, and I ger very nervou in those sorts of situations, but I just wanted it to be okay for him. And then he said to me afterwards that I was so in character, and that I was so calm and graceful.

'But he said that there was one moment during the audition where I had to hold his head on my chest and he could hear how much my heart was racing, and I was hot like an oven, and from then on we were bonded forever. '

Defiance is also unique in that it marks the first-ever convergence of television and online gaming - with a game also called Defiance having been developed by Trion Worlds.

Adam Collings, Channel Director Syfy UK, said: 'Defiance is a high-quality sci-fi adventure about aliens and humans attempting to co-exist that promises to be a key highlight in 2013 for Syfy and our viewers.

'We’re confident that viewers – both gamers and non-gamers alike – will be gripped by its action-packed story-telling and first-class production values.'

Defiance starts on Tuesday 16 April at 9pm on Syfy, just 24 hours after it premieres in America.
