Hart Of Dixie has now been canceled after four seasons following a series of statements from its cast and creator that foretold of its end months ago.

Still, The CW network announced on Thursday what many observers already expected - that the program has been axed and will not return for a fifth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The co-stars, including Rachel Bilson and Scott Porter, are seen on their final filming day together in Twitter photo shared by Scott after the announcement.

What a run! The Hart Of Dixie cast shared a photo taken in November from their last time on set, which was shared as CW officially announced  it canceled the series on Thursday

He wrote of the snap taken in November last year: 'From our last #HartOfDixie Day. To those pictures and to those not...I love you, fam! #WhatARun.' 

Series creator Leila Gerstein also tweeted on Thursday: 'It's official. But I have to add a thank you to all our amazing, inspiring fans. You are the real BlueBell. xox'

The dramedy starred Rachel Bilson in the lead role as Zoe Hart, a doctor who moved from New York City to Blue Bell, Alabama.

It followed her as she lived and loved in the sleepy but charming small town, co-starring Jaime King, Scott Porter, Cress Williams, Wilson Bethel, Tim Matheson and Kaitlyn Black.

The series conclusion - which was promoted by the network as a 'season finale' - aired on March 27 with wedding bells ringing and a new birth.

The series creator was not subtle when she shared on Twitter in March that fans will find it 'tremendously satisfying,' adding that she 'would have gone 17 years' working on the show.

In another tweet on March 6 she wrote: 'The final three episodes of #HartofDixie begin tonight. Buckle up, I think you will enjoy the ride. Xo.'

It was seemingly undeniable in early April that the show was to end in its fourth season after Leila began retweeting campaigns to 'save' Hart Of Dixie from the chopping block and shared messages from supporters who expressed gratitude for the program. 

Adding further confusion for fans, CW plugged the show's 'season finale' on Twitter on March 27, writing, 'BlueBell, you're 1 in a million! Thanks for watching the #HartofDixie season finale! #LongLiveTheHart.'

Back in November, Scott - who plays character George Tucker - posed with two co-stars and shared a photo from their last day shooting together.

His emotional caption revealed for many fans that the death knoll has rung. 

'And that's a wrap on the #3Amigos. Love these dudes. Proud of these dudes. #TearsWereShed #RealMenCry #HartOfDixie' he wrote. 

But more than a month after its last air date in March, there was still no change of Hart from the network on Thursday

Hart Of Dixie's cancellation comes after Rachel gave birth on October 29 to daughter Briar Rose with husband Hayden Christensen.

Her pregnancy was fit into the story line as Rachel's character Dr. Zoe Hart is expecting a child with her on-off boyfriend Wade Kinsella, played by Wilson Bethel.

She was tasked with hosting a show and dinner event for one of the world's top fashion houses.

And January Jones did not fail to unveil her style credentials in an on-trend petrol blue cut-out dress at the Chloe Los Angeles Fashion Show & Dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday evening. 

Following close behind was Victoria's Secret model Alessanda Ambrosio, who showed why she was born to model, looking effortlessly sultry in a pink silk blouse and black cigarette pants.

January, 35, who was hosting the the event along with Clare Waight Keller and Lisa Love, teamed her gown with a pair of black leather sandals whilst styling her blonde crop into a chic middle parting. 

The star looked dazzling in cerise pink lip gloss and black eyeliner as she posed alongside Chief Executive Officer of Chloe International SAS Geoffroy De La Bourdonnaye.

Meanwhile Alessandra, who arrived solo, oozed glamour in her ensemble which she accessorised with a tan leather handbag and a pair of tan pointed stiletto heels.

Adding to her sultry look, Alessandra opted for a pillar box red lipstick and smokey eyes to finish off the outfit.

Also at the prestigious event was Plymouth-born model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who opted for a chic black jumpsuit for the fashion event.

Rosie, 26, accessorised the slinky suit with a pair of gold drop earrings, a gold choker and gold bracelet whilst holding on to a pink and black clutch bag.

The blonde stunner, who is best known for her work for lingerie retailer Victoria's Secret and Burberry, was inevitably enamoured by the evening's proceedings and took to Twitter to express her enthusiasm about the 'stunning' new Chloe collection.

She posed up alongside tennis star Maria Sharapova, who was dressed in a mint green turtleneck frock, complete with external shoulder pads, accessorising with a jewelled gold clutch bag and pair of twisted gold hoop earrings. 

Russia-born Maria, 26, towered over Rosie, who stands at an incredible 6ft 2in, and who looked even taller at the event in a pair of nude pointed stilettos.

She added a dash of colour with her grey clutch bag, grey belt and black-jewelled pendant necklace.

Their choppy relationship has been on and off for six years, but Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen have now reached calm waters. 

The pair looked a picture of bliss as they enjoyed a sunshine break in Barbados on Saturday.

The 31-year-old, who found fame in The OC, wore a tiny floral bikini for their day at the beach.

The couple have been on the island for several days - tan marks from a bandeau bikini and her pink skin suggested she'd been soaking up a lot of sun during their stay. 

The itsy bitsy bikini allowed the Heart Of Dixie actress to flaunt her fabulous body.

Wearing no make-up and her wet hair messily tied back, Rachel showed off her natural beauty as she splashed around with her beau.

She's known for being a reality TV star, but Kendall Jenner's modelling career has certainly been skyrocketing.

Following the heels of her couture shoot for Harper's Bazaar Arabia, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is at it again with a feature in the latest US issue of Cosmopolitan.

And she couldn't be happier with her blossoming career, telling the magazine: 'Modeling is my number one priority – one hundred percent.'

While her older sisters have starred in various reality show spin-offs, she has no intention of following suit. 'That’s not happening,' she says.

Kendall grew up on camera and has emerged as a breakout star in her own right with the help of her mother and manager Kris Jenner, who gets a 10 per cent cut of her daughters' various deals. (The mother-of-six recently came under scrutiny for sexualising Kendal and Kylie, 15, a claim she called ‘ridiculous’).

But she doesn't always enjoy fame, saying: 'The show [Keeping up With the Kardashians] brought us everything we have, and I realize that, but sometimes I just want to be left alone and be a normal kid for like five minutes. That’s tough when the paparazzi are chasing you.'

For her latest photo shoot, Kendall escaped her chaotic lifestyle for an imaginative outdoor series.

One snapshot captures the younger sister of Khloe, Kim, and Kourtney Kardashian in a 70s-inspired ensemble, mixing prints with a sheer top and short shorts.

On the edge of a rectangular pool, she's seen squatting in a pair of platform orange sandals as her long locks flow straight down, appearing relaxed and carefree.

As she gazes into the camera, the starlet's eyes are concealed with retro style sunglasses, as her lips pop with a summery shade of pink.

The background of the shot gives a West Coast vibe, showcasing palm trees peek in the horizon.

Another image captures Kendall in a mod, checkered black-and-white number, revealing her lean, lengthy stems as she poses in white peep-toe pumps.

She appears to be in a backyard, standing on pebbles, as she places her hand on the nearby building to prop herself up.

Contrasting with the landscape is a red lounge chair, noticeably parked behind her.

The series also includes a photo of the sister of Kylie Jenner in a sparkling gold dress as she peers into a window, as well as a more age-appropriate snap of the model in a monochrome white top and shorts outfit.

Brightening up that picture is a pair of multicolored sandals and vibrant towels located in the backdrop, as well as a neon accent on her brimmed hat.

Along with the images, the Cosmo feature includes a personal interview in which Kendall also opens up about her teenage love life.

And when she needs advice about boys, she knows just who to turn to: 'Lamar [Khloe’s husband]. He is really good at giving guy advice. 

'He always tells me to know my worth and never accept less than I deserve.'

She has been engaged to her boyfriend Hayden Christensen since 2008.

And it seems that Rachel Bilson may be ready to take the next step and start a family with her handsome beau.

The Hart Of Dixie star admits in a new interview with Cosmopolitan that she is feeling broody.

'I definitely have family on the brain. Having kids is something I want to see in my future – I hope,' she told the publication.

The 31-year-old also opens up about her relationship with the Star Wars actor.

She says that she tries her hardest to be the best girlfriend she possibly can, putting her relationship before anything else.

'I’m a really good girlfriend – I always put all that first in my life. I’m definitely the person who would make him his favorite dinner to come home to,' she says.

'I love to cook, so we make dinner at home a lot and watch movies.'

The brunette beauty, who displays her slim figure in a sexy cut-out printed bodysuit and leopard print shorts for an accompanying photo shoot, also offers advice on what to wear for a hot date.

'Guys are so visual. I can never go wrong with a tight dress or a short skirt,' she says.

And if acting doesn't quite work out for The OC star, it seems that she has another vocation she would consider.

'I secretly want to be a rapper,' she says. 'If I could do a karaoke duet with anyone, it would be Eminem, and we would sing anything.'

Rachel recently showed her motherly side when she went shopping with her goddaughter and  best pal Jill Stonerock.

Rachel looked a natural with the little girl at her hip, doting over her the whole time.

The actress and Christensen are yet to marry after getting engaged in 2008.

The couple split in 2010 for a few months, but have been inseparable since reconciling within the same year.
