Rachel Riley showcases her hourglass shape as she steps out of her comfort zone in a scarlet bodycon dress

On daytime TV, she's partial to a classic, demure dress.

But Countdown's Rachel Riley was dressed in a more daring fashion on Thursday, allowing her enviable curves to be on display.

The television personality was centre stage in Trafalgar Square that afternoon for the unveiling of a fifth lion statue, sculpted from clock parts.

In spite of the cold, Rachel whipped off her ivy-coloured coat to reveal a skintight minidress; cleverly teamed with sugar-sweet heels.

The star swept her hair into an up-do, parted far on the left side, and teased out some soft strands loose to frame her face.

Rachel squeezed her curves into the ribbed, semi-sheer number, shooting a glimpse at her pert behind as she turned to the new London statue.

Rachel was lend star power to Nat Geo WILD's unveiling of a fifth temporary lion statue, ahead of their TV series Big Cat Week, which airs from February 1-7, 2016.

The numbers girl, famed for her mathematical mind, has kicked off 2016 with a vow to expand her vocabulary too, this time in Russian.

Speaking to Daily Mail, Rachel said: 'I've been learning Russian since March and I love it. It's a mathematical language, so it's fairly easy once you've cracked the grammatical rules.'

The TV mathematician met now-boyfriend Pasha Kovalev on Strictly Come Dancing when she was partnered up with the Russian professional dancer in 2013.

Despite their strong commitment, the duo are not said to be planning any 'mini-cloning' at this time and are just enjoying each other's company.

He told OK! magazine last October: 'There are no plans for mini-cloning right now! With Rachel, we are having a good time.

'We are quite serious about one another, but we’re not planning on kids yet. We’re not in that direction. We’re just enjoying each other.'

She sports some seriously revealing ensembles during her stint in Strictly Come Dancing.

And Kristina Rihanoff rocked a style that wouldn't look out of place on the show's dance floor to the Julian MacDonald Spring/Summer 2016 Collection during London Fashion Week on Saturday.

The 37-year-old star wasn't afraid to flash the flesh in a sheer gown which that highlighted her svelte physique.

Ensuring the lock wasn't too revealing, the design was bedecked with black feathers and glittering silver embellishments that were draped around her bust and around her lower torso, in an attempt to cover her modesty.

The Russian-born beauty finished the look with black sky-scraper heels and a sparkling clutch bag.

Her blonde locks were worn in a centre-parted low chignon to showcase her dazzling dropped black earrings.

Her make-up was typically glamorous with a dark smoky eye-shadow, bronzed contour and a glistening nude lipgloss.

The star was seen sharing a snap with the British designer outside of the show, with the 44-year-old Welshman tenderly holding the star by her waist as they flashed teeth-filled smiles for the camera.

Her appearance at the event comes amid claims Kristina has moved into Ben Cohen's marital home following his split from wife Abby

A source told the Daily Mirror: 'Abby’s OK about leaving the family home because she felt lost in it and it has so many memories. But she’s not happy at all at the prospect of Kristina staying there.

But Kristina didn't look at all fazed by the drama as she positively beamed whilst sitting in the front row of the celebrity-packed show, where she was also joined by Strictly co-star Pasha Kovalev and girlfriend Rachel Riley.

Other big names to appear at the event included Millie Mackintosh and husband Professor Green, Rochelle Humes, Lucy Watson and Ronan Keating and his new wife Storm Uechtritz.
