She is the reigning champion of Strictly Come Dancing.

And Caroline Flack made sure that the opening night of the Strictly tour started with a bang as she danced up a storm with her fellow contestants.

The 35-year-old star - who has been partnered with professional dancer Tristan MacManus - took to the dance floor in high spirits as she entered the eager crowd at the Barclaycard Arena in Birmingham on Friday night.

Oozing heaps of retro glamour, the former Xtra Factor host looked sensational in a tight top and high-waisted shorts, which highlighted her slender frame in all its glory.

Her brunette locks were styled into a loose curls while she completed her dancing attire with strappy brown heels.

She later slipped into a absolutely stunning in plunging silver dress with a tasselled skirt for her ballroom routine.

S Club 7 star Rachel Stevens wowed in a red dress which featured black sequin detailing as she danced alongside Frankie Sandford’s dance partner, Kevin Clifton.

Simon Webbe and his partner, Kristina Rihanoff, also dazzled fans with their fancy footwork as Kristina showed off her amazing dancer’s body in pink cut-out dress.

The pair may not have won the show but they did manage to claim the first victory of the tour, much to Kristina’s delight.

After the show, the dancer tweeted: ‘Thank you Birmingham for an incredible opening night and making @simonwebbe1 and I your champions !Very happy’.

Thom Evans and Iveta Lukosiute were on fine form as the rugby hunk wore a sailor costume to dance with the blonde professional.

Mark Wright and Karen Hauer didn’t seem to mind their first defeat of the tour as the former TOWIE hunk showed off his musly arms in a sequinned black vest top and black trousers.

Earlier in the day, the group were seen making their way from their hotels to the arena in an array of off-duty looks.

She has been away from the limelight for some time in order to start a family.

But Rachel Stevens has proved that, despite taking part in BBC1's Strictly Come Dancing seven years ago, the mother-of-two still possesses a fabulous figure.

The blonde beauty wowed onlookers on Thursday as she took to the stage for a dress rehearsal of the UK Strictly tour in a skimpy flapper dress.

Sporting micro-thin straps with a fringed skirt-effect, she looked radiant and every inch the professional dancer.

The S Club 7 star, who was the runner-up in the 2008 series of the show, matched her look with gold, strappy, Kylie Minogue-esque shoes.

Complete with smokey eye make-up and dramatic hair, she clearly means business.

In a twist to the show's usual formula, the chart-topper has replaced Frankie Sandford, who famously competed in the main show.

The pregnant star, who is married to footballer Wayne Bridge, was advised to withdraw from the tour by her doctor.

Having 'been there and done that' already, Rachel was on-hand to step in - and onto the stage.

Clearly a natural at the show's ballroom theme, she seemed to perfectly slot into the live show along with the other contestants, including Thom Evans and Iveta Luksiute.

Further fuelling rumours of a romance, the pair continue to get on famously.

Earlier this week Iveta was seen hand-delivering a personalised note framed picture which declared Thom the 'her partner'.

Obviously enjoying their time together, they could be seen laughing and joking while taking a break from the hardcore rehearsal routines. 

Also dressing to impress Iveta wore a sparkly two-piece, which combined a fringed skirt and bra-top. Colour-co-ordinated with the rest of the female stars, she also wore gold, strappy shoes.

Meanwhile, Thom looked handsome in an all-black ensemble.

No less good-looking was TOWIE's Mark Wright, who sported a short-sleeved, open-neck shirt with sheer panels.

Other stars who attended included Simon Webbe, Scott Mills and TV host Zoe Ball, who is presenting the regional live show.  

She wore a floor-length blue velvet gown, which afforded her a statuesque look at the centre of the proceedings.

Miss Ball was once known for her hard-partying lifestyle, but has been teetotal for the past six years. 

However, last month she revealed that she is once again enjoying the occasional drink, although she can no longer ‘handle the hangovers’.

The mother-of-two said: ‘I have the odd one. But now I think moderation in everything.’

Earlier in the day, even before the contestants changed into their attention-seeking stage-wear, Rachel managed to turn heads.

She headed to rehearsals in black leather, with skinny jeans and trainers for a casual - but cool - aesthetic.

She capped the look with a pair of designer sunglasses and an over-sized scarf to combat the January weather.

The star - who is re-forming with her S Club 7 bandmates - was clearly irresistible to fans who stopped her for autographs.

In fact, one even asked for a 'selfie' - to which Rachel graciously accepted. 

Moments later she was seen making a dash into the rehearsal space, but her entrance was infinitely more classy than Caroline Flack's.
