Woman Crush Wednesday! Ex-Hollyoaks star Gemma Merna shows off her stunning bikini body on the sands of Dubai
She quit Hollyoaks earlier this year, and it seems time away from the Channel 4 soap is agreeing with Gemma Merna.
The actress looked stunning as she frolicked along the sands of Dubai in a skimpy patterned bikini during a romantic break with her husband Ian Minton.
Looking toned and tanned, Gemma played around in the waves under the hot sun near the Royal Meridien hotel resort.

As she ran along the sand, the 30-year-old's new brunette locks flipped around, and she certainly suited the look after eight years of playing blonde bombshell Carmel McQueen on Hollyoaks.
Former Hollyoaks actress Gemma Merna took advantage of having some time off and escaped to Dubai with her husband Ian Minton following her exit from the Channel 4 show.
The 30-year-old actress wowed in a selection of outfits which showed off her fabulous figure and her brand new look as she leaves Hollyoaks character Carmel McQueen behind.

Reflecting on her decision to leave, Gemma told MailOnline: ‘It’s amazing when you’re in your twenties but as you get a little but older it’s a tough job to do.
‘The story-lines are so young and as you get older you don’t get as many of them, so there’s no point in being there and wasting your talent. You may as well move on with some new projects and keep challenging yourself.’
While career takes precedence as she attempts to establish herself away from Hollyoaks, Gemma has one eye on separate concerns – amongst them the possibility of children with husband Ian Minton.

‘We’d love a family but this year I’ve been focussing on my career so we’re looking at next year or the year after,’ she said. ‘I always said I wanted four kids when I was younger but maybe less now – maybe two.’
For now, the actress remains optimistic about the year ahead as she weighs up potential scripts.
‘It’s exciting to not know what your next job’s going to be, going to auditions, meeting casting directors and making choices from there,’ she said.
‘I’m very excited. Life’s about living and getting out there and doing it.’
