Gemma Arterton has revealed that she chooses not to read reviews any more
The actress, who compared first reviews with fellow actor Rory Kinnear, said: "It was a huge project for me and we got some really good ones and REALLY bad ones.
"They picked on me, which is fine, but it's hard when you've got to go on stage again that night, and the next night.

"So when I started in Nell Gwynn, I decided not to read any."
Speaking candidly in this week's Radio Times, the former Bond girl confessed that the pressure of getting a great review for a part you have worked hard for can take it's toll and for her personally has led to a few embarrassing moments.

She commented that she believes a performance is more "magical" if you a present and not just watching it on a screen.
However, the brunette beauty added it was also due to her ego, confessing: "I hate the idea of doing a theatre performance on screen!"
