'I burst into an ugly cry': Camila Cabello was so touched by support from fans after leaving Fifth Harmony she broke down in tears
Camila Cabello 'didn't expect' a lot of love following her departure from Fifth Harmony.
But when the Bad Things hitmaker, 19, made the decision to quit the girl group in December, she was supported by her fans.
The star told Seventeen magazine she was 'so emotional' about the outpouring of love she received even though she has been 'trying to stay away from social media for almost two years now.'

'Honestly, I didn't expect it. I was so emotional at that point, that when I saw some really encouraging things people were saying, I burst into an ugly cry.'

When Camila announced that she was leaving the group, the remaining members- Ally Brooke, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Normani Kordei- took to social media last December to say how shocked they were that their fifth member was leaving them, but are remaining positive about the future.
'We were truly hurt. We've been together for almost five years, been through ups and downs,' a statement from the girls said.
'While this isn't the way any one of us would have wanted this chapter in our lives to have ended, we had to begin to formulate a plan and constructive path for Fifth Harmony to move forward, beyond Camila.'
