And Emma Roberts was looking lovely as ever when she attended the Red Carpet Green Dress Pre-Oscar Celebration in Los Angeles on Thursday night, sporting a quirky dress for the occasion.

The 25-year-old star embraced the eco-friendly theme by donning a recycled purple and green dress with an asymmetric hemline and a scooped neck.

Emma was putting in a solo appearance at the event without her fiance Evan Peters, with whom she is still loved-up.

After splitting in May last year, the couple were seen out together again in November, sparking rumors their on-off relationship was back on.

The star, who keeps her private life under wraps, only recently confirmed their romance with a sweet Instagram post.

Emma confessed to Allure magazine in 2015 she may one day step away from the limelight.

'I think as I get older, there might come a time when I don't want to be in front of the camera anymore and want to be more behind the scenes,' she revealed. 'I would love to produce and maybe write.'

She said it was something that occurred to her while filming the TV series Scream Queens.

'I thought of it a lot during Scream Queens when every morning there's full hair and makeup and heels and mini-dresses,' she confessed. 'And I thought, "You know, I kind of want to show up to work one day and not care what I look like." It would be nice to just slip away for a little bit.'
