And Hailee Steinfeld looked every bit the star on her latest outing.

The 19-year-old entertainer was a sight to see on the orange carpet of the 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards on Friday night.

She stunned in a yellow gown while attending the event at Basketball City - Pier 36 - South Street in New York City.

Hailee sported a bright yellow number featuring plenty of sheer and lacy detailing all over it.

She teamed the long-sleeved frock with a pair of strappy white leather heels.

The Edge Of Seventeen actress wore her brunette tresses down as she completed her natural, complimentary make-up with a swipe of bright red lip.

It was a busy night for the starlet as she slipped into a different outfit for a performance during the actual award show.

The Nickelodeon HALO Awards as it honours five teens who are Helping And Leading Others (HALO).

The event was created by Cannon, 36, and features celebrities giving out the awards instead of receiving them,

The 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards will air on Teen Nick on Sunday, November 27 at 7 PM.

Katharine McPhee became a fan favourite as the clean-cut American Idol runner-up who went on to find further fame as an actress.

The 32-year-old entertainer showed a whole new, wildly sexual side of herself on Thursday with a truly steamy performances on Lip Sync Battle.

Katharine raised a shocked response from the audience as she started shaking her behind in tight black shiny pants as she danced seductively for Mystikal’s smash hit Shake It Fast, wearing a giant gold chain and pulling out dollar bills from her bra.

Then when rival competitor Jason Derulo, 26, tried to one-up her by stripping off his shirt while lip syncing to Ginuwine’s Pony, Katharine again refused to be outdone - coming right up to him and lifting her white T-shirt right up to show equally impressive abs.

But it was all just a tease for her super-charged sexual final performance with her admitting to a ‘sneak attack’ by writhing around to Jason’s own hit, Want to Want Me.

Mimicking parts of his video, she started in a bath wearing a skimpy white silk corset, soon moving over to a bed onstage even licking one of the bed’s posts seductively.

But she then shocked everyone even more by wrapping her legs around a shirtless male dancer - then straddling him on bed and finally jumping up and wrapping her legs around his head in a highly suggestive manner.

As everyone on the show gasped, host LL Cool J admitted afterwards: ‘I mean …. it’s a whole new Katharine tonight!’

Earlier, he had called her ‘such a sweet girl’ and a ‘girl next door turned actress and singer,’ admitting: ‘We didn’t know you had that in you! I like it!’

‘I’ve been known to get down in clubs,’ she smiled, while even Jason admitted of her performances: ‘I’m shocked, I had to pick up my jaw from the floor.’

Jason had the women screaming with delight as he stripped off during his first performance - and then laughing with joy as he expertly mimicked Rick James with a wig and tight black bodysuit to perform Super Freak.

Asked what she thought, Katharine referenced her rival’s super tight outfit as she joked: ‘I’m trying to keep my eyes up here and not down there.’

Jason also had the show’s so-called ’colorful commentator,’ supermodel Chrissy Teigen, blushing as LL asked after his performance of Pony: ‘Chrissy, doesn’t every girl want a pony?’

‘I’m gonna get in trouble!’ she joked, making exaggerated attempts to look down rather than at the shirtless singer.

‘Your body’s OK, your face is OK, you did a pretty good job,’ she laughed, still looking down.

Later, she joked that she was glad husband John Legend was not at the show for once, smiling: ‘Just saying he’s not here, if you want to hang out with Katharine and I.’

‘It’s not going to air - this one is a little too x-rated.’ Jason joked.

Katharine, who was runner-up her season of American Idol to Taylor Hicks, had complained at the ‘unfair advantage’ of so many women being in the audience - and seemed genuinely surprised to get the loudest cheers at the end to make her the winner.

‘I never win anything - I was on a show where I lost so I finally won something!’ she smiled as the winner’s boxing-style belt was strapped around her waist.
